Self Contained Cottage in Bowral with Fireplace

Beautiful new self contained cottage set on large grounds, conveniently situated midway between Mittagong and Bowral and close to restaurants, shops and wineries. A world away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but easy access to all the Highlands has to offer. An ideal base to explore all the towns of the Highlands or stay home, relax and read in front of the fire.
There is abundant bird life and beautiful views of Mount Gibralter.
Some breakfast provisions, teas and coffee are provided.

The space
Brand new fully self contained cottage with full kitchen and bathroom with bath and large shower, separate toilet and lounge, dining area with large screen TV.
Large alfresco area with views of the garden and BBQ is the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Guest access
Guests have a separate entrance and driveway but are welcome to stroll in the garden.

Other things to note
This area is very quiet in the evenings and is suited to couples wanting a quiet, romantic weekend away. We would ask that you respect our neighbours and refrain from making a noise.

Weekend getaway

The cottage and property are excellent and peaceful location. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and having freshly baked friands on arrival is a real treat.

Wonderful place in the highlands

Debbie was a most gracious host. Mike in the background has done an amazing job on their garden. The cottage is immaculate, filled with all the things you need / didn't know you needed, and is very comfortable. It's the perfect spot to access what's on offer in the highlands. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if looking in the highlands.

Exceeded our high expectations

We knew this place was going to be good, but it was even better than we expected. Debbie had the place well stocked, it was beautiful and clean, very comfortable. It is right next to the main house but still very private.

Tesky weekend

The cottage is fabulous & our host Debbie is amazing! Location is brilliant, very peaceful surroundings, lovely contemporary decor and the added little touches of sparkling wine, homemade friands, milk of our choosing, fresh eggs, cheese & crackers made for a very enjoyable stay. Thoroughly recommend this cottage!

Homely Cottage Stay

We really appreciated all the little touches that Debbie had put in to make our stay extra special. She baked delicious friands and provided other snacks/drinks to make us feel at home. We loved how clean, modern, spacious and comfy the cottage is and will definitely be back again when we are back in Bowral. Debbie is a warm and lovely host.

Tucked Away II

Debbie and Mike have an incredible property and they are impeccable hosts. With attention to detail, everything in the cottage was picture perfect. The cottage was well stocked with goodies we could munch all day. We would love to book again on our next holiday in the highlands.

Fantastic Hospitality

We had an enjoyable stay. The host provided so many little extras, from champagne, cakes, sourdough, tea, coffee and much more. Beautiful private home, ver clean and comfortable.

Weekend Getaway

The cottage exceeded our expectations in comfort, privacy, and delicious freshly made berry and banana muffins and bubbles to enjoy in the evening to take in the glowing sunset against the rock formation of Mt Gibralter. Hosts Debbie and Mike should be congratulated and proud of the lovely oasis they have created.

Tucked Away cottage was the best we have ever stayed in. We were impressed with every aspect of the cozy but modern cottage, where everything we could ever need for our stay was supplied. We were delighted with all the special ‘extras’ provided by our amazing hosts, which we did not expect. The fireplace was an absolute treat on the cold days. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others visiting the Bowral area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Tucked Away II and hope to return one day soon. The cottage is beautifully designed and equipped with incredible attention to detail. It is in a very quiet bush setting. The owners have thought of everything to make staying here a joy. It is the best self-contained accommodation we have ever stayed at.

Flawless presentation and lovely host

We had a lovely time relaxing for an anniversary weekend. The property is quite new and flawlessly presented with incredible attention to detail. The host communicated promptly and was incredibly accomodating baking muffins on arrival catered to my wife's allergies. Driveway access was a little tricky. The property is nestled at the bottom of the mountain just out of town with beautiful garden views. A perfect little tucked away weekender. The property was stocked with a mind blowing array of extras like food and drinks and the host has clearly put in a lot of thought and attention to detail. A labour of love.

Luxury Abounds!

You will be hugged by luxury when you walk through the door! Attention to detail is apparent throughout, with high class furnishings and finishes the order of the day. The provision of thoughtful supplies is the icing on top. This is the perfect base from which to explore the Southern Highlands and is an ideal stop between Sydney and Canberra. The hosts are warm, eager to please and just such nice, down to earth people. Enjoy your stay!

Few Days Retreat

A superb cottage for that quite retreat in natural peaceful green surroundings. From booking right thru to departure everything went smoothly. Cottage fixtures and fittings were of high quality standard and kitchen contained ed all available items for making light breakfast and snacks incl. milk, juice, bread, nespresso coffee, teas and many other items which are on a long list to mention. Thank you.
