Quite neighborhood, great spot with kids

We had a great time, the neighborhood was very quite but a short drive to groceries. One thing to note is the closest beach (englewood) is closed for public parking since the hurricane. The closest beach is a 25 minute drive.

Our Stay was Just OK

Stayed 2 weeks - 1 week with family visiting. Here are our pros and cons...Pool was the highlight. Loved that there was a safety screen too for little ones. Heater worked great. Was concerned as the pool looked a little green but pool guys assured us was some staining but water was clean (and it was). FYI, the pool lights are still not working so no night swimming.House is definitely a bit well-worn and showing its age. Felt like overall some things could have been cleaner ... Luckily we prefer showers - would not use tubs. (Also could use some towel hooks on doors as very few places to hang bath towels.) Windows/screens were dirty. Master BR air vent was so coated with dust - I bought a swiffer to clean it as i did not want to breathe it. The grill had also not been cleaned in a while - no grill brush. We dealt with it so we could cook out.That said, the neighborhood was quiet and pretty well situated for getting places, parks, trails, stores, etc. House was well equipped for beach and pool use. (Make sure to check beach status as many beaches are still closed from 2024 hurricanes.) Loved having the washer/dryer. It would have been nice to have guidance on the lake in the backyard - it wasnt clear on whether it was OK to walk down there or not. Also not sure about TV in living room, there are 7 remotes but we had trouble getting any stations... Some of these things were minor - more observations and management company was responsive.

Great space

This was a great property to stay at. It was nice that the master suite was on one side of the house and the other 2 bedrooms and bath were on the other side. The pool and patio were great spaces to hang out and enjoy the sunshine.

Perfect for my family, just a few hiccups

The house looks just like the pictures. Perfect fit for me and my husband and children. Unfortunately, the pool was very dirty and green upon arrival. I had to skim it before we used it. The outside lights did not work around the pool aside from the porch light, and the front entrance lights did not work. Bulbs probably just need to be replaced. The pool lights inside of the pool did not work either, which made it scary for my kids when we attempted to swim at night. The jacuzzi tub in the master suite was dirty and the jets and plug had a lot of calcium buildup. I had to clean it before using it, and didn’t feel comfortable using the jets.

Great clean and quite!

Communication was good and all codes were sent before we arrived for seemless entry. Property was a nice size. We had 5 in our group. Property was clean and updated.Our only issue was the pool needed some love. They came to look at it the day before we left so we missed a few days of pool use. To be fair we stayed between Chrismas and New Years. Roughly 20 min to a beach with a lot to choose. We enjoyed Boca Grande a lot.We all would stay again.

Great fantastic place

Everything that you could possible think you'd need and even things you'd forget. Was all there. Even thought are stay was during tropical debby we had plenty of room to be comfy indoors as well as on the lanai. Enjoyed everything Super stay will do again.

Incredible

We felt safe and pampered during our stay. The owners thought of so many ways to make our stay easier and less stressful. I know all three of us had a very hard time leaving on the last day. It was such a beautiful house! My favorite place was the lenai. I spent a huge amount of time there. The local stores were very, very close by. The neighbors were friendly and so were the people we came across in the community. The location was also a great spot inbetween beautiful beaches. I highly recommend staying here.

Overall very pleased with the house!! And the fact that there is a bald eagle nest two doors down and you could lay in the pool and watch it was amazing!! Definitely would come back!

Absolutely amazing!! Second start but not our last!

Very attentive managers, very clean, spacious, user friendly, efficient and homey. Great, quiet location in small neighborhood. Felt safe and secure. Pool was perfect! We look forward to many future stays. Lots of local amenities and stores as well!

Great Location

Nice house, nice pool,big yard, pond with bass and tilapia behind the house. Its close to Myakka,Boca, Manasota and there are lots of boat ramps close by. The neighbors to the left are super nice people, the neighbor to the right is a yankee transplant thats rude and will yell at you for walking around the pond.

Family vacation

The house was very nice and like the pictures showed. When we arrived we did have some issues with cleanliness and amenities and our guest host,Ms. Wallace was on it immediately. She fixed the issues and communication was top notch! If I was going to stay in that area again I would look into booking the house again. Very nice and quiet area. If not for initial issues I would have given it a 5 star rating!

Nice house

Lovely home. Nice for the family.Minor things need attention but overall we loved our stay. No grill on property. Master bath shower had no hot water and master bath door would not close. Living room floor seemed to have a residue from cleaning and was sticky on tennis shoes. I mopped and it helped. None of these issues would prevent us from staying again…wonderful place to stay.

Gorgeous home however…

This rental property was a really nice place. When we arrived checking in was easy along with dealing with the lock on door. But. We noticed as soon as we pull in the drive way that both dumpster cans were extremely full and smelled horrible. I mean horrible.. Never the less, As we were checking the place out we noticed that there was trash hidden in some places. We seen water bottles under the couch, dead bugs on the floor and when we got to check out the pool area, there was old cigarette butts, firework wrappers and even a coat hanger on or around the pool. When we actually got in the pool we noticed it wasn’t very clean and there was bits and pieces of a pool noodle in it. It was clear to us that the cleaning company isn’t cleaning this rental up… Besides the trash, the master bathtub constantly drips and leaks, the sliding bathroom door leading to master bathroom is broken, the ice maker doesn’t work so we could not get any ice for our drinks or even water from fridge, which would have been nice for 96 degree weather.. continuing on, the smaller bathroom’s toilet constantly leaked and the drain in smaller tub doesn’t drain. We wouldn’t mind staying at this rental again but it definitely needs some TLC and better attention to cleaning. I’m not quite sure why we were chargers for a cleaning fee when clearly it is not getting cleaned.
