Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This brand new walk out suite is quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful forest. The suite is simple, immaculate, and has all the amenities you need for a fabulous stay. There is a full kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom has a queen bed and the living room area has a double futon, perfect for 2 kids or 1 adult. Just a few minutes walk to Kaslo's beautiful river trail and a 15 minute walk to downtown and Kootenay Lake. There is a covered patio to chill and listen to the birds, and even watch a deer or a black bear wander through.
High speed fiber optic internet, dedicated work space, and full kitchen. We are pet friendly and there are many walks around the area to take your pet out; off leash on the property is not recommended.

The slope down to the back of the house was steep and the path was loose gravel as a result I was quite insecure as a Senior and my wife could not even consider it. As a result we had to find other lodging. I couldn't contact the owner due to poor internet but she contacted me the next day and said she would refund my money.

Looking down the side of of house to the rental suite. My daughter and 6' Grandson note the slope on the foundation. the picture in the listing did not show that slope

Comfortable and roomy place to stay

Stayed for 2 nights while on a fishing trip with young boys, was comfortable and well equipped for our needs.

Clean and tidy

Cute place within walking distance of central Kaslo if you don't mind one relatively short hill. A wooded walking trail one house away leads to the school and subsequently to town. Liz's place was immaculate and provided a lovely stay in Kaslo.

A beautiful brand new basement suit with everything you need. I especially loved the lounger outside. The only thing less positive i could say was the early morning stomping woke both me and my daughter up quite early and she was grumpy and hard to handle all day

Very nice property. Would highly recommend.

Everything was clean and well appointed. A nice spacious suite for two people, and it would not feel crowded if a couple more were to sleep on the pull out couch in the living room. The property is very nice, and quite serene feeling.

Location a perfect walk into town. Quiet and forest facing but with sunlit rooms (with thoughtful blinds). Decor absolutely beautiful. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Hospitality excellent. Will return!

Lovely quiet surroundings

The apartment was very clean and we had everything we required. My only very small criticism is that I think it would have been nice to have had some soap for the shower and perhaps a little more washing up liquid. All in all a lovely place to say and I would recommend it to anyone

Haslo Getaway

House is new and beautiful. Backyard is not pet friendly. Trails are close to house, which made it very convenient.

Nice place

Didnt spend very much time at home when we were on vacation, but this place did the trick. A little uncomfortable bed but otherwise a great place to stay, a steal of a price for this private and newly renovated space
