Escape to our serene country cottage in Eugenia, Ontario, with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and comfortable space for 8 guests. Relax in the large, private backyard with outdoor 30 x 15 foot pool and deck area. Walk 9 or drive 2 minutes to Lake Eugenia. The Beaver Valley offers endless outdoor activities like boating, cycling, and hiking. Discover unique dining, wineries, cideries, breweries, and distilleries nearby. Indulge in nature and relaxation at our idyllic country home.

The space:
This is the family cottage that we enjoy in all 4 seasons. We only open it up to rent a few weeks a year and we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do. You will find the space is well outfitted as a family cottage would be, not like a full-time short-term rental. For example, the kitchen is complete with everything you could need for preparing family meals, or your next indulgent charcuterie board. With multiple indoor and outdoor living areas, everyone can find their favourite place to settle in. Relax by the pool on a beautiful summer day, take a few laps and feel refreshed, or drift off for an afternoon nap in the hammock under the towering maple trees.

When you are ready to explore discover the enchanting Beaver Valley offering a world of adventure and relaxation for your vacation. Immerse yourself in outdoor bliss with boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and rock climbing. Delve into the captivating underground world of caving or explore the scenic roads and mountain trails perfect for cycling and mountain biking. Excite your taste buds with a vibrant food scene boasting delectable restaurants, unique food stores, cheese shops, and bakeries. Uncover hidden treasures in local shops and antique stores, or immerse yourself in the local art scene at charming galleries. Just a short drive away, Collingwood, Blue Mountain, Thornbury, and Georgian Bay's stunning beaches await your exploration. Your unforgettable getaway begins at our cozy cottage in Eugenia, the ideal haven for an incredible vacation experience.

Guest access:
You will have the entire cottage all to yourself including the expansive 1.25-acre landscaped yard and private pool. The detached garage is not included.

Other things to note:
The pool is normally enjoyed mid-June through to the end of August, with the season sometimes extending into September, depending on the weather. There is a solar cover on the pool, the pool is not heated.

EV charger is available upon request (Type 2 connector).

The washer and dryer are located in an unfinished utility area of the basement adjacent to the basement bathroom.

Peaceful, private getaway for reconnection and relaxation in nature

We needed a space for adults of varying needs to converge, reconnect and rest - Chad and Liz's cottage was the right choice! A week was the perfect amount of time for us to quickly feel at home in the elegant country setting. Our hosts were readily responsive and check-in/check-out was smooth and easy. Every convenience and hospitality was in place to make it feel warm and inviting. It was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed hiking, paddleboarding on Beaver River, playing pickleball (Flesherton), swimming, campfires, and lots of family time. There were spaces to play games and share meals inside and out. The dogs were very happy in the spacious fenced yard and walking The Bruce with us. We had ample space to enjoy our individual time and activities as well. It was charming to hear the occasional clip clop of Mennonite wagons being pulled down the street. The wi-fi and amenities were just like home, which helped with completing a couple of projects online while we were there. Every window of the cottage provided a view of the surrounding greenery, as we were embraced in nature for a true slow down from our everyday bustle. The privacy and serenity of the property were exactly what we needed. The decor was delightful, and the description was accurate. We scouted a fall fair and kite festival, and perused some local eateries. On the one rainy day, we enjoyed a fabulous day trip to Collingwood to enjoy their many art galleries and local food outlets. Thanks! Recharged :)

Wonderful private escape

The home and property were spectacular!! I loved being able to let my puppy run around the huge fenced in yard as he chased flies and birds. Was so quiet that we all slept better than we have in years. An incredible escape from the city. A huge thank you to the hosts!
