Fun retreat house outside Dallas

Unfortunately our trip was preceded by torrential rain fall so we didn’t get to take advantage of the pond, pool, our outdoors much. The house has been newly renovated and the property manager was prompt with communication.

Grammys

This was the nicest place I ever rented. We had 10 women and we were happy and comfortable. Like a mother day retreat. Would definitely recommend to rent.

Kemp house with pool

We stayed on this property with our children & grandchildren. Property was nice and check in was easy. Bedrooms were just as described on the listing. We discovered the sheets on the 2 double beds were very dirty. We contacted the managers to let them know and to see if there were extra sheets. They were not helpful and did not seem to care…never even apologized for our inconvenience. We had to wash the sheets ourselves before we could sleep on the bed. House had not been cleaned thoroughly, cobwebs on lamps and floors were dirty. We used the guest house as well and upon arriving were told we could not flush toilet paper in the toilet. Pool was nice, but pool filler was full of red wasp nests. My son in law and 4 year old grandson were stung just walking by. We did enjoy our time in the pool area after we took care of the wasps.

Dallas trip

The property was extremely well set up for guests. It was clean, and organized ( down the to lights having labels on them as to what they controlled, which was an excellent touch ). My family had a lot of fun there, and it served as a great central location for attending my daughter's wedding, with very easy access to Dallas and Kemp where the events were held.

Great house for a large group

We really enjoyed our stay over the weekend. The house had plenty of space for our large group. Spent most of our time in the pool, and outdoor patio spaces. The large living room, dining/kitchen area were great hangout spaces for when we moved back inside. This was our 14 consecutive summer vacation with our group of friends. We’ve rented many houses over that time span and this one is definitely at the top of the list!

Life in the Country

We were a day late in arriving due to illness and work schedules. I alerted the manager who said I would receive a welcome notice so I would know how to communicate. Never received. The place was very clean, other than the ring around the toilet that appeared to have not been cleaned. The outside porch area with grill could be picked up more. Upon arrival a large trash can was upside down in this area which we found curious and a concern as to what might be trapped underneath. The lid was on top of an outdoor dining table. The grass had not been mowed for a while. They did come to mow on departure day. The place accommodated us all nicely. The layout downstairs of the living room, dining room, and kitchen really allowed us all to be “together”. The kids enjoyed the guest house. The beds upstairs could have been a bit more comfortable, but they weren’t awful. The gate to the property was NOT locked upon arrival. We wondered if the mechanism was working. We left it that way. It was closed and locked it on the day of departure, perhaps the mowers did this. Our biggest disappointment was the condition of the pond which is described in the information about the property as a spot to “cast a line”. Not only did it have algae, but it also emitted a strange scent. Please consider more plastic cups of some sort. Glassware is great, but not outdoors especially by the pool and in the guest house where kids are most likely to be.

Excellent place to relax and enjoy.

The house is extremely comfortable. The house has every accommodation you need. Towels and sheets are of good quality. It seems to me that the house was set up thinking about the guests. The barbecue area which is close to the pool is amazing, we spent a lot of time in the pool area . The extra house has everything you need, it's comfortable and organized. Beds are of good quality. The children loved to sleep there. We didn't miss anything except a sandwich grill in the kitchen. But, that was it. The kitchen has all the necessary household appliances, pots and utensils in general. You just need to be careful when closing the property's gate because you need to be quick while doing it. Communication with the house management was efficient .Without a doubt we will return to this house as soon as possible, me and my family loved it!.
