Located in the heart of Old Montreal, the David Hotel is surrounded by almost 400 years of rich history which means that taking a stroll down the cobblestone quarter is quite literally like walking down memory lane. Only a block away is bustling rue Saint-Paul, the oldest street of Montreal paved in 1672 and where you will find Notre Dame de Bonsecours, our city’s jewel and oldest chapel built in 1771.

The neighborhood’s old city charm is home to an eclectic mix of high-end boutiques, leading contemporary art galleries, upscale dining and pulsating nightlife. ##CREATING HISTORY

The story of the David Hotel mirrors its foundational history of innovative minds coming together to create an original design. Named after its original owners, the Corse Building was built in 1858 by bold sisters and partners Susannah and Mary Corse. The female entrepreneurs turned in their inheritance for a seat at the table and completely disrupted a predominantly male industry by renting out their space to wine and cigar importers as well as auction houses. Fast-forward over a century and a half later where two like-minded Davids are found repeating history and making headway in an industry of their own. Highlighting the juxtaposition of historic gray stones that adorn the exterior of the momentous building to unveil a modern rendition of expressionistic interior architecture and design, the two Davids present their namesake; the David Hotel.

Their goal; reinvent the hotel lifestyle for a more curated voyage, giving guests access to all the tools and privacy needed to take charge of their own unique experience.
