Vi inbjuder dig att njuta av vår nya stuga med 3 sovrum (2 drottningar med ett loft som tredje sovrum) i det grindiga samhället Riverbend, bara 10 minuter öster om Lake Lures offentliga strand. Vår stuga är en riktig tillflyktsort i en lugn miljö inklusive tillgång till (och vinterutsikt över) Mirror Lake, Little Mirror Lake och Broad River. Njut av bad, slang, fiske och båtliv.
De två drottningssängarna nere har båda toppskivor med mjuka skum och mjuka ark. Övervåningen loftet har två mycket bekväma enkelsängar och en full futon (och massor av brädspel, böcker och ett fotbollsbord).
Det fullt utrustade moderna köket, med alla apparater i rostfritt stål, har plats för upp till 8. Mysig upp till en varm eld med den vackra sten spis. Vi har nu gratis wifi med Verizon och ett Netflix-konto så att du kan strömma filmer / shower. Över 50 DVD-skivor att se också.
Vi är hundvänliga och har två hundbäddar, kopplar, väskor, hundskålar och godisar. Det finns en avgift på 80 $ för att ta med din hund (er) - upp till två hundar. Om du har en tredje hund kommer det att bli en extra avgift på $ 40.
Våra äggformade stolar på verandan är perfekta för att smutta på limonad på en varm sommardag.
Eldstaden är tillåten för hyresgäster så länge det finns ett bränningstillstånd på plats. Vi har för närvarande ett bränningstillstånd.
Vi är stolta över att använda naturliga rengöringsprodukter inklusive Doterra eteriska oljor.

Vår stuga ligger 10 minuter från Lake Lure, 15 minuter till Chimney Rock, 30 minuter till Tryon (TIEC), 45 minuter till Black Mountain, 60 minuter till Asheville (lite under en timme till Avl-flygplatsen).
I närheten ligger zip-foder, vandring, bad, ridning, båtliv, slang, forsränning, golf, yoga, bryggerier, Rumbling Bald Resort, Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn och så mycket mer.

This little cabin is awesome. It’s clean. It feels secluded. I would not recommend it for someone who has bad knees. The steps going up to the cabin are steep. But that’s the mountains for you.

This was a great stay compared to others we have visited. The cabin was very clean, meet and orderly. Plenty of room for several people. They do allow pets but you would never know there has been any in the home. The host was responsive to help with a smooth transition. The lake is clean, safe, not crowded. This location is quiet and the drive to the cabin is relaxing.

The cabin was amazing. Nestled within the trees in a peaceful private community. Attention to detail and just the right communication with the host, Karen. Very pet friendly. Lola had a fantastic time and genuinely enjoyed the thoughtful deck layout that allowed her hangout freely with the family. Highly recommend.

We love staying at this home! It was the 2nd time staying. It is always clean and so cozy. She is very easy to communicate with.The neighborhood is AMAZING! My daughters favorite part of the trip is going down to the river and playing on the rocks in the evening!

This was the cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in. The homeowners obviously take meticulous care of the property and considerable thought has gone in to every detail. The cabin is well-stocked in every regard, including any possible dog needs. This is dog-friendly at a whole new level! The lake and river are just a short drive away and the sunset views are beautiful. The space is fantastic both inside and out. It is secluded and quiet while also being in close proximity to restaurants and groceries if needed/wanted. The best of both worlds. If you're looking for a place to relax and make memories, this is it.

Loved this cabin!

We had a blast and would definitely go back! The cabin was well stocked with anything we needed, quiet and secluded and perfect for our family and dog Molly! Access to the river and lakes was awesome. Highly recommend!

Dog friendly happy place!

We loved our stay….everything was easy from check in to check out and the house was super well stocked with all the essentials! The property is very well set up for dogs. Close proximity to all the good areas, and the Lake was very clean (although cold and rainy). Beautiful scenery and the Nature walk near the waterfall is a must. Karen was a great host!

Karen was very helpful and responsive. This cabin was the perfect location for a peaceful getaway. It also had an excellent setup for dogs. Would strongly recommend staying here.

We’ve made lasting memories here with our two sons and our dogs, Roxi and Ollie, who especially love hiking nearby trails and splashing in the Broad River. Why did you choose this neighborhood?

The moment we entered the Riverbend community, we knew we’d found something special. After more than a year of searching, this peaceful, wooded neighborhood captured our hearts—and we knew it would be the perfect place to create a second home and share with others as a relaxing retreat.

Riverbend feels like a true escape. The gravel roads wind past Mirror Lake, with its charming pavilion, beach, and dock for swimming, fishing, and paddleboarding. Across the road, you’ll find the River Walk, where you can explore the beautiful Broad River, picnic beside giant boulders, or dip into quiet swimming holes near a small waterfall. Just beyond Mirror Lake is Little Mirror Lake, another serene spot with space to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.

The community is made up of rustic homes, each tucked away with privacy and space—offering that secluded, cabin-in-the-woods feel. Deer and other wildlife are frequent visitors, and we always recommend keeping dogs leashed for their safety.

When we’re here, we never want to leave. And with so much nearby—from zip lining and hiking to wineries, festivals, and even the famous Dirty Dancing lakefront—you just might feel the same way.

The soaring vaulted ceilings and exposed beams gave the space an open, welcoming feel and the handcrafted wagon wheel chandelier fills the room with rustic charm. Anchoring the space is a stunning stone fireplace with a mantle dating back to the 1700s, salvaged from a historic West Virginia cabin. It’s not just a conversation piece—it’s the heart of the home.

Step onto the deck and you’ll enjoy peaceful, seasonal views of Mirror Lake. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, an afternoon read, or a glass of wine as the sun sets. We’ve filled the cabin with thoughtful, personal touches—like locally crafted artwork and custom furniture designed by us and built by a talented area woodworker. The console table and writing desk are just a few examples of the handmade quality that gives the space its character.

We’ve worked hard to make this cabin feel like a true retreat. It’s a place where history, comfort, and creativity come together—and we hope you’ll feel that warmth the moment you arrive.
