En helt ny erbjudande till Rochester Minnesota VRBO lista över hem! Den omfattande renoveringar av "Kathy House" har just avslutats och hemmet är nu klar för inflyttning. Allt är helt nytt inifrån och ut i denna lyxiga tre sovrum, två badrum bungalow. Bottenvåning lever bekvämlighet och bekvämlighet och tillgänglighet. Fullt licensierad av Olmsted länet som en kort sikt Medical Stay bostad, är Kathy huset unikt beläget på en ganska cul-de-sac bara några minuter från centrum, St. Marys och gång / cykelavstånd till shopping och restauranger. Staden busshållplatsen är 2 hus ner. Den Kathy House kommer säkert att vara din nya favorit ställe att bo när du besöker Rochester!

Husregler:

- Högst sex gäster med en $ 25 / gäst / natt för mer än tre gäster.
-Ganska Tid från 22:00 till 08:00.
- Rökning, förbränning av ljus eller rökelse i huset eller garaget.
- Inga husdjur inne i huset (även för en kort besök).
- Håll huset rent och välordnat under din vistelse.
- Inga ändringar tillåts såsom målning, hängande bilder / speglar eller ordna inredning, etc.

The house and neighborhood are exceptional. The hosts were so helpful when I needed to extend our stay and responded quickly with any questions. The hosts have thought through every detail to make this home a great experience. We will be back again.

Great home as described.

Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the sunroom watching the squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks frolicking in the backyard. Comfortable beds, great shower, nicely stocked kitchen and full size washer and dryer. Host answered all questions promptly. Would definitely stay again when back in the area.

Perfect Stay in Rochester

We had a wonderful experience at the Kathy House! We were impressed from the moment we set foot inside. Shawn and Shelly thought of every detail. We felt at home during our 5 week stay. It was our safe haven during the COVID-19 crisis. We will most certainly consider this property for our next trip to Rochester. It really is an exceptional property.

Stress-free Stay

Like many others staying in Rochester, we were there for Mayo. Shawn’s place removed a few stressors and made the day-to-day routine easier. The home is well-appointed in every way— no details were spared in conveniences and comforts. If there were six stars, we’d leave them!

The house was beautiful and well priced but the rental description did not include details that the owners expected professional level cleaning to be done before checking out or they will charge $50 per hour. This was in the house rules when we arrived but not prior. They tried to charge an additional $100 for “crumbs” on the floor.

Shelly and Shawn were excellent at communication before and during our stay. The home is as described. It is in a quiet neighborhood and only about 8 minutes from Mayo Clinic. Easy to find things from there. Beds were comfortable, hot water plentiful, bathrooms easy to use.The sunroom that doubles as an eating area is especially nice.Having a garage is nice!There were some surprisingly excellent restaurants nearby - notable Ichi Tokyo and Pho Chau.Could have used just a few more things in the kitchen for those who like to or need to cook, but nothing major was missing. And it does take a bit to warm up the living room and downstairs, but these are minor things. All in all, I'd rate this a solid excellent.

The perfect „Zen“ place during a stormy week!

Unfortunately my family’s visit here happened to be at an unprecedented stormy week in Rochester. The beautiful and very cozy space located on a quiet culdesac also proofed to be a safe place and offered all the comfort to make my family’s visit enjoyable! Lovely Home

Beautiful, clean home in quiet neighborhood. Literally minutes away from everything you may need. Ye Olde Butcher, Caribou Coffee, Apache Mall and Nothing Bundt Cakes were our favorites in addition to an absolutely amazing Italian restaurant, Terza, that we dined at twice. The homeowners were incredibly helpful. No matter your reason for visiting Rochester do not hesitate to book The Kathy House. You will be happy you did.

A Gem of a House

Everything in this Vrbo house was quality. Laundry facilities were top notch, the beds were comfortable, the towels were amazing, the kitchen was well stocked, and the house was very clean! My wife enjoyed the power recliner that helped in her recovery. Having a garage for the car was so nice! The driveway and sidewalks were scooped early every morning that it snowed. What a great 5 star experience.

Rochester for the 4th

We stayed in this wonderful property for the week of 4th of July while visiting our son who lives in the local area. It was a great home base to relax and visit. Temperatures were a little warmer than expected during the week but we had no issues due to the central a/c. The property is very quite, has been meticulously upgraded and includes everything you need for a great stay. Most notable was the cleanliness of the property, which I would imagine is a necessity for others who may be visiting or staying due to the clinic. We would stay again if the owners will have us! I cannot recommend highly enough for anyone visiting Rochester.

So refreshing!

The house was wonderful! SO much better than being in a hotel for a week and a half while my mom was at Mayo for a heart procedure. We had plenty of room for family to visit, rest, eat lunch, cook dinner, etc. Love that we had two bathrooms and access to laundry. Lovely sunroom and outdoor space as well. We enjoyed being able to use the grill. House is clean and has a wonderful stock of amenities and supplies. TVs and family rooms upstairs and downstairs were wonderful. Perfect place to stay. If we ever have to be back at Mayo Clinic or have an event in Rochester we will be staying here again!

Shawn and Shelley were incredible hosts! My friend and I were visiting town for a conference at Mayo and this could not have been more perfect for our stay. The house is exactly as advertised and is a beautiful and functional property. Shawn and Shelley have gone out of their way to make this feel like a home away from home. From having a whole shelf of spices, a tray of various teas, a well stocked kitchen with every utensil/tool you could need to having nice details like robes, shampoo/ conditioner they have thought of every detail so that you can enjoy your stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. Having stayed at our share of airbnb/vrbo over the years - this was by far our favourite!!

Excellent and Amazingly Clean Place! Definitely planning to visit again!

Thanks Shawn and Shelly for hosting us. We are very familiar with Rochester as we had lived in the town for over 20 years and recently moved out due to remote work option. I visited with my family for 7 days for work related trip. The location of this property is very good, in a safe and quiet neighborhood, within 5-7 minutes from Mayo Clinic. The house was amazingly clean. Utensils, furniture and mattress etc. were all of good quality. I loved the partitioning of the house. Shawn and Shelly were great hosts and responded to all our questions pretty much instantly! We will be visiting Rochester in the future on a regular basis and definitely plan to stay in this property! Thank you. Jay

Excellent Property Close to Mayo Clinic

I would highly recommend this wonderful home for anyone who will be visiting the Mayo Clinic as it is literally a 3 minute drive to the campus and back. It was so nice to be able to come back to a quiet home between and after appts and not be cramped in a hotel room, but be able to take time apart to think or be together and enjoy the scenery. The property is close to restaurants and shopping or you can prepare meals in the beautiful kitchen that is well stocked for your needs. Relaxing in front of the fireplaces was a huge plus and sitting in the lovely sunroom was amazing! I can’t say enough about Shawn and Shelly, as they wanted to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We knew if we had any questions or had any trouble we could reach out to them and when you’re away from home for an unsettling reason, that’s huge! If we venture north again, I hope we’re able to book the Kathy House again! Thank you!!!

Perfect

We stayed at The Kathy House for seven nights while my husband had tests and surgery at Mayo Clinic. The house was perfect in so many ways! 1. Check-in was seamless 2. Extremely clean 3. Room to spread out with WiFi and Smart TV's 4. Less than 10 minutes from Mayo 5. Great communication with host 6. Well stocked kitchen 7. Attached garage We will definintely stay again!

Best accomodations for trip to Mayo Clinic

Every aspect of the house exceeded expectations. We had a 7 day stay for extended testing at Mayo and couldn’t of made it in a cramped hotel. There was plenty or room to continue working from afar plus the kitchen made the meals so much better then having to eat out for a week straight. Highly recommend!

Exceeds Expectations

The home was thoroughly enjoyable. The owner/host thought of everything to make our stay perfect. So many wonderful thoughtful amenities...like charging stations for cell phones, etc. in various locations in the house. The downstairs "den" is a dream for reclining and watching the large TV in front of the digital fireplace.

Kathy House is an Excellent long stay accommodation. Convenient to Mayo Clinic and St Mary’s Hospital. The Hosts have thoughtfully included amenities to ensure home away from home comforts. This house has been beautifully remodeled. As a home chef, the kitchen was perfectly stocked with useful wares. Our hosts were wonderful, and great communications. During our stay, Mother Nature was not kind….snow removal was necessary and taken care of. Thank you!

We have two college aged children and a bit of zoo at home with two dogs, a cat and a double yellowed headed Amazon parrot we have raised since a chick in 1992! When we are not working in our full time careers as real estate agents, we enjoy boating in the upper Mississippi river during the summer months and trying to stay warm with activities in the winter months.

In the beginning of 2016 my wife, Shelly and I decided to embark on a comprehensive remodeling project replacing and updating every system in the home with the goal of making it one of the finest and most comfortable places to stay while visiting Rochester. Finalized at the end of 2016, its now ready for you to enjoy!
