TERRIBLE - DO NOT BOOK

Do NOT book this property. I ignored a previous review and ended up paying the same price. On the morning I was due to check in ( as I was going to the airport) I was told the place was flooded. Same excuse as previous review. After that msg, they would not reply. How many times can they used this excuse. Stayz did refund my money, but this caused a major issue trying to find another room before I boarded my plane. Absolute scammers, should be zero star option.

Very disappointing

The host was non-responsive when I was contacting him all week to try get the check-in details for the property, and then 9pm the night before I was meant to check in he messaged saying there was apparently 'water damage' and the property was no longer available to stay in, which caused me a lot of additional stress and resulted in me having to find new accomodation the day before and pay a premium due to the late notice- Very disaapointing, would not recommend ever booking with this host!

Worst Experience Ever !

Rating 0/5 Both hosts (Kaz and Tania) never once initiated contact and were both non responsive to my attempts to contact them asking for check in details. In the week prior, I messaged twice, spoke with Kaz twice and also left a voicemail requesting a return phone call. Stayz were also unsuccessful in several attempts to contact the host the night prior to check in. Unfortunately, Stayz policy doesn’t allow them to take action until the time of check in which meant my family had to make the trek to the property and sit out front for almost an hour before alternate accommodation could be found. I then received a gushy letter from Tania (to the point of insincerity) which was clearly written with the help of Chat GPT, suggesting they were also a victim due to an unexpected water leak which “took them completely by surprise”. You only have to read the previous review to realise that excuse had already been used. Then she had the audacity to comment that as a gesture of their commitment to making amends, they will issue the full refund! DO NOT book with these hosts !
