Underbar Lakefront Lodge

Denna vackra två våningar lodge på Lower Bottle Lake är perfekt för semester med familj och vänner, vandring, cykling eller snöskoter grupper, skrot bokning eller kyrkor reträtt. Med åtta sovrum och fyra badrum finns det gott om plats för alla.

På bottenvåningen finns ett stort öppet vardagsrum med en eldstad och massor av sittplatser. Det enorma köket har två stora bord, två kylskåp, diskmaskin, spis, ugn och mikrovågsugn. Det är också fullt möblerat med redskap och disk.

De fyra sovrummen på bottenvåningen har vardera en dubbelsäng. På övervåningen finns det tre sovrum som har två dubbelsängar vardera och ett sovrum som har en dubbelsäng och en enkelsäng. Det finns ett loftfamiljerum med satellit-TV och två gångvägar med utsikt över bottenvåningen som leder till mysiga gungstolar med utsikt över den underbara sjön; en fantastisk plats för att läsa eller titta på solen som sjunker över sjön. Detta vackra hem är en fantastisk plats att samlas när som helst på året.

Great family vacation!

My family and I stayed at the house over the Labor Day weekend and we had a blast! The layout of the house was perfect for hosting four family with 8 adults and 7 children. We had plenty of space for the kids to run around and play and the adults to kick-back and relax. The sandy beach was great and we enjoyed the swimming pool and kayaking. Very nice place for family gatherings!

Relaxing Family Getaway

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the property. The beach area was a little too weedy and muddy for swimming (probably due to draught and low water levels) but the kids played in the sand and did their swimming in the pool. The only negative was that the grill hadn't been cleaned after the last using but it was a minor oversight and we made sure to do it after our use. We enjoyed our family time and would love to come back if we can find open dates that work for our family.

Annual family Reunion

Overall We had a wonderful time. The community was nice and not busy. Felt like we had the whole area to ourselves. Kids didn't want to swim in the lake after seeing a few leeches swimming around. But they all enjoyed the community pool. Everyone enjoyed fishing and little ones loved the beach/sand area. We couldn't pontoon in the lake due to the low water levels. We had to go to a bigger lake "Big sand", which was a bit disappointing especially on a lake front property. The home was alot smaller than the pictures showed and the other properties were alot closer...not as secluded based on the pictures. All the couples loved that there was a sink in each of the lower bedrooms. There was a TON of yellowjacket wasps and a few of our family members did get stung but that didn't stop anyone from having a good vacation. My sister in-law did unfortunate forgot her very nice Japanese knife in the kitchen though :(...said it was too far to drive back for it...so everyone enjoy cooking with that knife.

Great time for a family group of 12!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake home! The kids loved being able to swim in the pool and even got a close-up view of trumpeter swans. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we could have wanted. Having 8 bedrooms was great and the living space was also good for a big group.

Very comfortable

We made this reservation at the last minute, because another reservation fell through. The family had stayed here before. Melissa made the process very easy. We were grateful to be able to stay here. Having eight bedrooms and 4 bathrooms made it perfect for our large family. Everything was as promised and we only have good things to say. We would make one suggestion. It would make things easier if bath towels were provided. We would gladly stay here again.

Perfect lake house for large group

We were here for the first half of March and it was very quiet, none of the neighbors seemed to be home and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The lake was still frozen and absolutely peaceful to hang out on during the day and the stars were stupendous most nights. This house was perfect for our large group and never felt crowded. The only quirk was one of the upstairs toilets was really loud for the bedroom below it.

Amazing stay!

The home was open upon arrival and it was very clean. The 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were plenty of room for our large group. The access to the lake was amazing! Our only wish was that they had updated bedding and provided towels. It was difficult to do dishes without even hand towels or wash cloths. Overall it was a great stay!

2020 Family Christmas Get-Away

This property was perfect for our family. Grandkids shoveled snow off the lake to go skating and play ice hockey, half the group went ice fishing, some went Xcountry skiing on the lake, we played games. The house was especially perfect for nerf gun wars. We ended up pulling out all the living room furniture to find all the darts. It looked like we were the first ones to ever vacuum under the couches.

End of summer at the Lodge

We really enjoyed your beautiful property!! So very well stocked with coffee makers, crockpot, elec griddle, pots and pans and such!! Bedrooms with sinks are great!! We loved the layout completely! Plenty of table room for our crew inside and out!! Beautiful view of lake! Loved the sandy beach so close!! Thank you!!

Wonderful memories with family.

Wonderful beautiful property. We had such a memorable time swimming.fishing,and around the fire pit. The property was well furnished clean and lots and lots of room. We enjoyed the Farmers market and Itasca National Park and breakfast at the Longing camp. We are hoping to return next summer.

Wonderful stay.

Our group of 8 adults and 6 kids had a wonderful week. Melissa and Karen were great to work with. The Lodge had the space we needed. The adults occupied the main floor bedrooms and the kids took over the upstairs. The lake view from loft was breathtaking. The deck was awesome, we could sit and watch the kids down at the beach, where they spent hours. The adults enjoyed the water as well, perfect spot for our 8 person float. Kids had a blast catching fish from the dock as well. The pool proved to be a wonderful retreat from the lake, many hours were spent diving, swimming and relaxing on the deck. Thanks again Melissa and Karen for sharing the Lodge with our family.

Family reunion

Great size for our group of 12 adults and 3 kids. It was wonderful to have 4 bathrooms. There was lots of space throughout so we didn't feel crowded. It was good to have 2 refrigerators. I appreciated the encouraging of recycling. We'll come again when it fits our schedules.

The lodge was clean, warm (weather was below zero), kitchen well stocked.

Enjoyed our stay at the roomy lodge. So nice for a large group to have several areas to converse, play games, cook and eat. We brought a couple of fish houses on the lake that were easy to access. We will definitely be back.

Excellent cabin with lots of room

The cabin was excellent with spacious 8 bed rooms & splendid views of the lake. All amenities except washer dryer which was not a big problem. Deck was huge too with tables & cgairs to accomodate all of us. Volleyball court was right behind which was a plus. Swimming pool was great for kids. Lake & surroundings needs some cleanup.

Great place for winter getaway with a large group

Stayed here in February with 2 other families. 6 adults and 8 kids ranging in age from 13-17. Home has a perfect layout with plenty of space for sleeping and gathering. Love that it has 4 bathrooms. We went snowmobiling, ice fishing and snowshoeing. Great location for all of these activities. Not far from snowmobile trails. Didn't do so well ice fishing but had a great time. Home has everything you need and owners are readily available. This was our second year staying at this house. Hoping to make it a tradition.
