Stay was ok

The house was fine! The problem we had was with the hot tub and pool. The hot tub was not warm when advertised complaind several times and we did get to use it three evevings and the pool was not the cleanest!

Overall was satisfied with the property its self ,except for the palm tree rats located near the property. But the handler of the property was able to handled it ex well.

Great time!

We had an amazing stay. The kids loved the pool with all the pool toys. The canoe was definitely a hit too. Loved that you had extra fishing poles and equipment for us to use!

Disappointing

It appears that at one time this was a very nice property. But we found that there were several issues that we had to contend with.Pulling into the garage we found excessive dry wall debris which coated the front half of the garage where we had to enter carrying all of our supplies for the month. Needless to say, when we were done, foot prints covered the entire house and the 2 vacuums left in the garage were full of dry wall stuff. Fortunately we found a broom and dust pan.Major issues:Pool leak fixed by 2nd week (water in pool could not heat as water was did not flow properly thru the heater.Refrigerator filter: Leaked onto floor even after a towel and bowl were placed under leak. Repaired after 3 weeks.Mildew/Mold in master shower and small bugs appeared in master tub (gnats??)Furniture in living and dining room are so worn out we had trouble sitting in both rooms because the seats were so low.Towels and pans were not adequate for more than 2 people.

Great home, very clean, comfortable beds, everything you would need in a kitchen. The pool and canal area are wonderful! Would be helpful to have full instructions on how to use the tv remotes in the living room.

Dirty

First off, when we got there at 10:30 pm we could not get into the house because the door lock was not working The main areas of the house were nice, but the guest quarters were dirty; dirty sheets, no mattress pad, disgusting tub that had a squishy slippery mat thrown on top of it to mask the dirtiness (didn't help). The showers were very difficult to turn on. We would not stay here again.

Quiet neighborhood with a pretty view

We rented this house for the month of January. The location is very nice at the intersection of two canals. You can fish from the dock - my husband caught a bass and saw many turtles and a baby alligator. On one side is an empty lot and the neighbor on the other side is angled away so it’s quite private. The weather was unusually chilly so we did not use the swimming pool. The layout is nice with the master bed and bath on one side and the other two bedrooms and bath on the other side. The kitchen is big and well equipped with lots of dishes, silverware, pots , etc. There is a large washer and dryer in the laundry room which work well. The mattresses were comfortable and the carpet in the bedrooms appeared to be new. We were able to use the garage which was very convenient for loading and unloading. The house is very close to a WalMart Neighborhood market and the library. Publix, CVS, Walgreen’s and lots of restaurants are only about ten minutes away. Our Evolve representative, Sarah, was great. She responded to our texts almost immediately and had a handyman come over for a few repairs as well as ordering delivery of some supplies. The house could use some refreshing. The color scheme is green and brown so not a coastal feel. A coat of paint would go a long way. The pool pump and heater are right outside the master bedroom window and are quite loud when running. Initially they turned on around 4am but the owners adjusted that to 6:45am. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Tenants cannot control the whirlpool. Initially it was running from 8pm to midnight. We asked for it to be put on in the afternoons and the owners made that change for us. The only furniture in the living room is a large leather sectional sofa. It’s very deep and soft and not easy to get up from. If you need good back support this will not be comfortable for you. There is only one table lamp in the living room. There is a very nice electric fireplace which we used on colder days instead of turning on the heat for the entire house. We appreciated the convenient location and many amenities that Cape Coral offers.
