Njut av vårt vackert renoverade och inredda hem på Erie-sjön. Vacker privat egendom med 150 "i vattnet. Njut av utsikten över sjön från varje rum i huset. Däcket har nyligen renoverats och utökats. Det har nu utsikt över den vackra sjön vilket gör att du känner dig som om du slappnar på däck på ett fartyg. Fastigheten ligger i ett lugnt och avskilt område på landsbygden Leamington i en naturlig miljö omgiven av träd direkt på vackra Lake Erie. Tänk dig att äta i matsalen, koppla av i vardagsrummet eller sitta på däcket samtidigt som du har utsikt över den stora och orörda sjön Erie. Njut vakna upp till en vacker soluppgång över sjön eller somna till vågorna och rörelse i vattnet. Om du behöver en plats att koppla av eller bara en plats att vila medan besöker Leamington och de omgivande områdena. Detta är din plats.
Stugan ligger tio minuter från Leamington och fem minuter från Wheatley. Det finns många restauranger i antingen stad samt shopping och nöjen. Vi ligger intill Hillman Marsh Conservation Area samt Point Pelee.

One of our favourite stays in Pelee

The cottage is cozy yet feels spacious for the size, the location is perfect and is super private. Both Leamington and Pelee are quite close and Hillman Marsh is basically right next door.We checked in 15-20 minutes early without letting the host know and the security alarm went off. Be sure to check in at the right time or let the host know before entering! Be prepared to fill out a rental agreement before check-in.Overall we really enjoyed the stay and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Cottage by the Shore-Yes!

This is an awesome place to stay! It’s clean comfortable and tastefully decorated. Right on the water, the sunrises are amazing. Communication with the host Maria was above and beyond. If you want a relaxing getaway, book this place!

Stay by the lake

Clean place with a great view of Lake Erie. Well equipped kitchen; bbq on a big deck. Quiet. Within 15 minutes of the entrance to Pelee National Park by car and 10-15 minutes to Leamington (for grocery stores, etc.). A 5 minute walk to Hillman Marsh Beach et a few minutes more for the conservation area.

This property was perfect for our family. Everything is as described. It is very modern and there is a lot of outdoor space to enjoy! Very clean and the host was always quick to respond.We would love to come back again.

Spectacular by the Shore

If you are thinking of renting this location, DO NOT HESITATE!! The property is better than the owner's description and photos. We have rented this property three times in the past four years, and we will be renting again. Clean, clean, clean. The view of the lake is incredible and the area is very peaceful. Extremely good communication with the owner. I would give a six star rating if I could.

Overall the house was very nice and the same as the pictures.

The only reason I’m not giving the rental 5/5 stars is because there were a couple of lights that didn’t work and there were A LOT of cobwebs. As if the home hadn’t been dusted in months. We had to clean in order to completely enjoy our stay.

Lovely spacious cottage

We had a terrific week at the ‘Cottage by the Shore’. It is a beautiful, bright, spacious and incredibly clean home. The cottage is well equipped and tastefully furnished. What stood out for us was how comfortable the beds and sofas were, so sleeping and relaxing at the cottage was a delight. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the large deck, reading and admiring the view, and enjoying many of our meals outdoors. Previous reviews mentioned the excessive amount of bugs and spiders on the deck. This was not our experience at all, other than the few bugs that one should expect being in a cottage by a lake! The cottage is private, the surrounding are quiet, and the garden area is beautifully maintained. One thing to mention is that the cottage is about a 20 minute drive to town so make sure you have all of your supplies and groceries so you don’t have to keep ‘popping out’ for stuff! Our host, Maria, was incredibly supportive and a pleasure to deal with. This is a very special place and we hope to return some time in the future.

Lakehouse getaway

We were blown away by the views, seclusion, and impressive patio and grounds at the cottage. We had a relaxing five days, the cottage was clean and lovely and had all the amenities you’d expect to find at your home. We ate every meal on the patio overlooking the lake and woke up early most mornings to enjoy the spectacular view of the sun rising over the lake. Looking forward to our next visit!

Outstanding view

View of Lake Eire was outstanding...exactly as promised. Beach not a 5 to 10 minute walk around the corner. We did not originally realize that there was no wi fi at the cottage when we booked. Luckily. Maria pointed this out to us in our final confirmation so we came prepared...had printed out some local maps and local restaurant info before we arrived. Loved the location close to Point Pelee National Park and Hillman marsh.Maybe 10 15 minute drive into Leamington. Would definitely rebook.

Beautiful place on the water

Neat, tidy and well equipped cottage with large deck right on the water. We had fantastic weather and sitting on the deck was the best part. Deck is quite private as well, which was an added bonus. Owner was highly responsive and very friendly. Great stay and highly recommended.

Peaceful and relaxing

A quiet, beautiful property where you can sit on the deck listening to the waves gently lapping against the rocks and enjoy a constant breeze from the lake. The interior was immaculate and nicely set up. The host was very accessible and helpful. We look forward to returning. Thank you.

We stumbled upon this property while going through Chatham-Kent on a drive through the Essex-Windsor region and instantly fell in love. The tranquility, the privacy, and the feeling of complete relaxation when we are on the property made the decision to purchase the property a quick one.

If you love to be enveloped by nature and you love privacy, this is the place to visit. Each and every time that we are at our Cottage by the Shore, I get a sense of peace. I love the sound of the water near me, the sway of the trees, the sound of the birds overhead or on the lake, and the smell of nature.
