This light, serene custom home is the perfect launchpad for your adventures in Pacific City, a unique beach community at the edge of the North Oregon Coast. With high ceilings, open spaces, and windows to let in sunlight and views of shore pines, Dory Landing will refresh your senses and relax your guests. A vaulted living room has a gas fireplace, TV, and lots of plush seating. A long pine dining table is supplemented by a breakfast nook and a line of stools along the kitchen breakfast bar. Custom cabinetry with wood detail makes the kitchen especially attractive; stainless-steel appliances and a galley layout make it an effective workspace.

Upstairs, a king suite with its own private balcony provides a quiet retreat. A bedroom that sleeps three and a bonus room with a twin bed (and a TV/DVD and Xbox for the kids) make this a terrific home for a family with extra friends. Outdoors, you’ll enjoy a patio, barbecue, hot tub, and an extended front porch with extra seating. Bikes in the garage let you explore the community with ease.

You’ll be an easy walk to breathtaking views of Haystack Rock and the beach. The Pelican Pub sits right on the sand, surfers search the breakwaters for the perfect wave, and dory boats, for which your house is named, pull right up on the beach with their catch. Great Location

The dish washer and ceiling fans need a good cleaning. There was dust hanging off the ceiling fans and the dishwasher had black stuff all over the silverware rack and inside. Otherwise, it is a great house and location for a family.

Fantastic House - A Few Small Issues

We really enjoyed this house! Adorable, close to all that we needed in Pacific City and good amenities. The only drawbacks for us were the fact that the king size bed is super firm, hard as a rock. I think a simple memory foam on top of the mattress would solve that problem. There was something smelling really rotten in the disposal, so my wife worked on getting that cleared up. We have the same problem at our house on occasion so she knew what to do. The living room furniture was also not quite as comfortable as it could be, but it wasn't horrible. Overall we loved this house and will book it again!

another beautiful stay in Pacific City!

Very clean home, very clean hot tub. Carpets could be updated. No TVs in any of the bedrooms, that should be clarified, but not a huge deal since we were mostly outside anyway.

Great stay close to the beach and Pelican Brewery

It's a short walk to the beach and close enough to walk to Pelican Brewery and the Market for groceries and supplies. The house is nice and would have easily fit our children if they come with us on the next outing. The hot tub was nice and clean. The house was clean. The kitchen has a good supply of spices and utensils, dishes and cookware. The TV had lots of options for streaming and the Wifi worked well. There were games and books to read as well. The front door code did not work so we just used the backup key instead.

Pacific City 2024

Great location and loved the quiet. Could walk for food/groceries/fun. We all Loved the hot tub! Other than the small inconveinces listed below, it was a Really great place to stay!!!!! The listing said the bonus bedroom had a gaming device.....we never found it. Concerns: The toaster doesn't work, we Didn't like the late check in 4p and then early 10a check out time.....most places have check out around 12p.

Good weekend getaway home

My spouse and I booked this home for a weekend coastal getaway with our pup. Booking was easy and communication from the management company was great early-on. We received our access code to the home quickly and got inside without any issues. The home is located so perfectly in the city. It was a 5 minute walk to the brewery, and even less so to the beach. There is a very accessible path above the sand dune and directly onto the beach. The path to the beach or brewery/shops is quite literally three steps off the back deck. The home is mostly comfortable and we enjoyed our stay overall, but with a few notes to future travelers -1) Bring your own coffee, laundry detergent, and other baking/cooking goods. The kitchen has every cooking utensil and appliance you could want but you have to bring your own seasonings, oils, food. Most will probably scoff at us for this, but just keep in mind. 2) The hot tub worked perfectly for us the first night but we had issues thereafter. The jets weren't super powerful and it didn't hold the set temperature after one use. We were unable to enjoy it more than once.3) The WiFi is SLOW and there is very limited cell coverage in the home. We have Verizon and struggled getting any signal. Aside from all of this the home really is comfortable and served our needs quite well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a coastal weekend getaway and doesn't mind the issues we experienced above!

Family getaway

Weekend winter getaway to the beach with family. Hot tub was clean, ready to use and large. Love the boardwalk to the beach that is steps away. Photos showed 4 bed bunk room that was not there - bedroom with only two beds instead. We figured it out but were disappointed in that on arrival . We love Pacific City!

Non communicative management company

Beautiful property. Great accommodations. Very well appointed kitchen with everything you can think of needing and this coming from a professional chef. If you are expecting any privacy for the hot tub, don't. It sits right next to the neighbors driveway and can be seen from the street when turning onto the property and visible from the walking path on the back side of the house which was rather busy. The wifi did not work my entire trip nor did the code to get into the house for the front door, but there was a back-up lock box with key. My issue was not having access to wifi, but the lack of response from the property management. I called the night I checked in. I texted from my phone and emailed from my phone. ZERO response. I wanted to do a couple of hours of computer work while I was away. Did not happen. I called the next morning and was asked if I reset the wifi which of course I did. It was not the wifi itself, rather incorrect login information. The wifi name was not an option to sign in with nor would it take it. The person I spoke to Saturday morning could not give me the correct information and wanted to send someone out which I told her I was not going to be there most of the day. No one ever showed up. No one followed up. No wifi the entire trip. Again not the end of the world, just glad there were real no issues if that was indicative of property management response.
