Cabbagetown is a designated heritage district in downtown Toronto. The area is recognized as "the largest continuous area of preserved Victorian housing in all of North America". Most of the beautifully maintained homes have remained original (built between 1860 and 1895), giving the neighbourhood a historical film set street vibe! And yes...cabbages really were grown (in abundance) in the village!

Within walking distance are a number of boutique coffee shops, "it" brunch and dinner spots, local pubs, and late night bites.
