For those who want to venture to the base area but not ski, the Green line bus stops at Base Camp, and the resort village is only about a 1/4 mile walk from the entrance of the complex.

The majority of the properties in the Winter Park area do not have A/C due to the cooler climate. The resort base closes during the off seasons in the spring and fall but the downtown area remains open year round.
