Design lovers will appreciate the stylish details of this historic property, transformed by internationally renowned architect Sean Godsell and with thoughtful furnishings, nodding to contemporary art and architecture including that of Mark Tucket, David Bromley, Thonet and more. The building was previously home to the Cherry Ripe, so you can be sure it will offer a memorable stay during your visit to Melbourne.
An industrial-chic makeover in the open-plan living and dining area features high ceilings and large windows that create a sense of spaciousness and maximise natural light. A large, fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to cook up a feast, along with a six-person dining table and additional seating available at the breakfast bar. Kick back on the generously sized sofa with a movie, work from the study nook tucked under the stairs, or head out to your private balcony to enjoy a cosy afternoon wine or a relaxing read in the hammock. Downstairs you’ll also find a generously sized bedroom with a king-size bed, plus a laundry with a washing machine and dryer
On the upper level you’ll find a two spacious loft-style bedrooms including the master with a king-size bed and the third bedroom with a queen-size bed and a skylight window that offers views looking up to the night sky. The master bedroom features a sleek and contemporary ensuite, while the main bathroom downstairs includes a luxurious bathtub where guests can indulge in a leisurely soak.
