The Space:
Located 15 minutes from Banff, and approximately one hour from Calgary, this home away from home comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely covered patio with BBQ and seating to enjoy the mountain air. We love where we live, and we love to share it with guests, so when you stay with us we welcome you properly, with added touches such as freshly roasted local coffee and locally made, 100% natural bath and body products. The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!).

Guests have access to all parts of the unit.
The Neighborhood:
Solara Resort and Spa is located in the main tourist condo area. The local bus is nearby, with connections to a bus to Banff , Lake Louise and Calgary. If you come by airport shuttle the stop is a couple of minutes up the road. This is a licensed, legal condo, so your booking is assured. Coffee shops, liquor store, general store etc. are all 5 minutes walk away. If you need a little pampering, One Wellness spa is gorgeous, and is located within Solara Resort. The apartment is best suited for couples, but there is extra accommodation for 1-2 on the comfy sofa bed if you need it. The indoor pool and hot tub are a welcome place to revive sore muscles after a day of adventure, and if you want to work off dinner, there is a fantastic gym in One Wellness. Personal coaching, use of the sauna and steam room (highly recommended) and full spa service are available at extra cost. Can't be bothered walking to town? There's excellent dining at Shops of Canmore (5 minutes walk), Bridgette Bar in Spring Creek (7 minutes walk - Our Favourite) or The Malcolm Hotel in Spring Creek (7 minutes walk - the Stirling Lounge is lovely!)
Canmore offers loads of opportunities for the adventurous and serene alike. Hike, bike, climb, ski, white water raft or canoe, and when you need a little downtime, settle with a picnic blanket and a book in a park besides the river in summer, or cosy up in front of the fire in winter.
Getting Around:
Free local Roam transit is available within Canmore, with connections to Banff and Lake Louise (fares apply). Legacy Trail bike path to Banff is literally a one minute ride away. Canmore is highly walkable, with dedicated paths for both foot traffic and bikes all over town. Bikes can be rented from Gear Up, a 5 minute walk from the home.
