Historiska Westhaven Lodge vid Lake Vermilion - sedan 1935

I existens sedan 1935 har Westhaven Lodge en privat miljö med en frÀmsta plats pÄ södra sidan av Big Bay of Lake Vermilion. Nyligen renoverad, har 3 300 kvadratmeter singelhytten sin egen stora brygga med en tillgÀnglig bÄtlyft, sin egen eldstad och vedeldad bastu, och en stor strand som den delar med en sÀsongsstuga med tvÄ sovrum (stuga 1 pÄ Westhaven Lodge, som ocksÄ finns att hyra om du behöver mer Àn sex sovrum för din grupp).

Stugan kan enkelt hantera en stor mÀngd eftersom den har bÀddar för upp till 18 personer. Det stora sovrummet vetter mot sjön och har en queen size-sÀng, ytterligare tvÄ sovrum med utsikt över sjön innehÄller ocksÄ queen size-sÀngar, ett fjÀrde sovrum har en full sÀng och tvÄ vÄningssÀngar innehÄller sex bÀddar (dvs. tre vÄningssÀngar) och fyra bÀddar (dvs. tvÄ vÄningssÀngar). Stugan har ocksÄ ett stort stort rum, en fyra-sÀsongs veranda, ett stort kök och en matsal med plats för 12 vid bordet.

Om ditt parti Àr Ànnu större kan Cabin 1 pÄ Westhaven Lodge, som ligger bredvid och har sin egen sjöfront med en separat brygga och bÄtlyft, enkelt hantera ytterligare fem gÀster. Den har ett sovrum som innehÄller en queen size-sÀng och ett andra som har en annan vÄningssÀng och en separat enkelsÀng. We had a wonderful stay at Westhaven Lodge! The lake and home were beautiful and worked well for our group of 11. The home was clean, and the caretakers were very kind. Bonnie stopped over with fresh vegetables from her garden during our stay. We would definitely love to stay again some day!

a beautiful property and lodge. Only thing missing was a sandy lake bottom, so be sure to bring water shoes so you can go into the lake - lots of rocks.

Relaxing Getaway!

Love the Lodge

My Family loves this place. The table is big enough for all my local in-laws to come and eat with us. We have an extremely large family and everyone can come and eat here. It has plenty of space for the kids to play outside and/or in. Very cute decor, clean and comfy. This is our 2nd time here and we would definitely stay again.

Great location and space

We enjoyed our stay and the ample cabin rooms/beds were great. We had a lot of fun snowmobiling and skiing. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciate the chance to rent.

Five siblings and our spouses spent our annual three day gathering at Westhaven. It's always a time to remember and give thanks for our beloved parents, something we've been doing for 23 years.Over and over again I was thanked for finding such a wonderful property. It took us back to our childhoods when we stayed at resorts with a similar feel. And how we loved the dining room table that comfortably seated us all.The weather was gorgeous, the surroundings beautiful, an exceptionally clean lodge...everything was perfect!A couple of suggestions that could apply to all VRBO properties: we are all seniors, a couple with disabilities; a small grab bar in the tub surrounds would help make bathing safer. Finally, it would be helpful if more detailed descriptions of each bathroom were to state exactly if they had a tub/shower combo vs just a shower (which is so much better for us).Roger and caretaker Bonnie were great to work with and always available to answer questions.We hope to return again next year. Amazing week

The lodge was a great place for our family. There was room inside and out for the kids to play. The bedrooms were on one end so the little ones could nap. Everyone enjoyed the firepit, the beach and the area in general. We will definitely book it again.

Beautiful view, great house a large group.

The house was great, roomy and cozy. Was the perfect setting for our large family to gather and enjoy the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed, the house is well appointed and larger than we expected. Outside there was plenty of things to do to keep everyone amused, from the 5yo to the 92yo. Will visit again!

Book it while you can!

We've stayed at many different cabins around Lake Vermilion, this is the first cabin that we attempted to book AGAIN only two days into our trip. It's perfect for large families: Has lots of yard space for activities, it's plenty spacious inside and fishing off the dock was great!

Mid February stay

Very cold out , 39 below so limited outside activities. Went to Wolf Center in Ely and really enjoyed it. Very functional for group with younger children.

50th birthday celebration!

This cabin accommodated our group of 10 adults very nicely! The sauna was lovely, the outdoor sitting area by the lake was heavenly, the canoes and kayaks were a fun addition, and the kitchen, living room and dining room gave us ample space to cook and gather. Bonnie (the caretaker) was responsive to my on-site needs. One small downside was that the bunk beds were a little short for a taller adult to sleep in. We were very pleased with this property!
