Welcome to our charming cottage. Boasting a clean, modern vibe, ideal for couples and families. The spacious private deck is perfect for sunning, dining, or relaxing by the fire pit. It features well-appointed living areas with comfortable seating, a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen perfect for home-cooked meals, and serene bedrooms with plush bedding for a restful night’s sleep. Nestled close to pristine lakes and scenic hiking trails, it's perfect for a relaxing escape or an adventurous retreat. The area is famous for its fishing, boating, scenery and mild climate year round. There are 5 lakes close by for swimming and water sports. There is excellent mountain biking and many beautiful hikes, including one right across the street, with truly world-class views. The property is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood so that all you hear is the sound of wildlife, and we have deer as regular visitors. A truly exceptional place of peaceful beauty. You can be as active as you like or relax in nature. Madeira Park is 15 minutes away (for groceries and restaurants), and Sechelt is a 45 minute drive - where there are lots of shops as well as cross country skiing and snowshoeing offered in winter. Garden Bay gets only half the rain of the lower mainland and is green all year round. It's a wonderful retreat during the winter and incredible for enjoying sunny summer days. Please note that there is a minimum stay of 3 nights at this property. Guests may check-in anytime after 4 PM and must check-out by 11 AM.

Please be aware that this property is our home so although you will have your own space, you may see us as we come and go throughout the day. There is also a 13 year old French Bulldog that (sometimes) lives here- he is super friendly but deaf so please keep the gate closed at all times.

Excellent getaway

Well situated in quiet neighborhood, close to the ocean and lakes. The property consists of a cottage and a cabin. The cabin is essentially a tiny home with a queen bed, bathroom and kitchenette. Super cosy. The cottage is well laid out, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Lots of outdoor living space. Annie was great in helping us with check-in and check-out. She gave us lots of tips and ideas of what to do in the area. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay, amazing property and location. We were minutes away from great hikes and lakes to go paddle-boarding. The host was very thoughtful and we had everything we needed to explore the surrounding area. Having a full kitchen and grocery store nearby was perfect since many food places weren’t open on all the days we visited.

Home away from home

Annie's place is perfect for your getaway! She has thought of everything. We had such a delightful time, and Annie is a GREAT host! I feel like I've known her for years. The main house is gorgeous and the cabin is super cozy! I highly recommend Annie's place. And Frank is the cherry on the sundae! I didn't get a chance to use the outdoor clawfoot tub,

The property is cute. However we did not know the host was staying in a rv on the driveway. We did not feel we could use the property or amenities to its full potential

We first met in Toronto when we were 17 and 19, and reconnected again after 36 years❤️. We are both passionate about food, fashion and how to reduce, reuse and recycle the aforementioned. We are currently away in Italy and enjoy sharing our beautiful property with guests from around the world.
