This charming 1-bedroom apartment is located in a beautiful complex in Fortitude Valley, a riverside suburb of Brisbane, just 3km from the Brisbane CBD and a 12-minute drive from the airport. Immerse yourself in the apartment’s unique history, as it’s named after one of the newspapers once printed within the very walls of this heritage building. Please note, key pick-up is at a different location, just an 8-minute drive from the property.

The Space:
This apartment is located in a beautiful complex featuring a lap pool. Step outside and explore the vibrant Fortitude Valley and Newstead suburbs, with an array of restaurants and shops just across the street.

The Neighborhood:
Explore beyond Fortitude Valley to nearby neighborhoods like New Farm, Teneriffe, and Newstead. New Farm offers designer stores and lush green spaces like New Farm Park. Teneriffe is a riverside gem with stylish bars and restaurants, while Newstead is home to excellent cafes and eateries.

Public transport makes it easy to explore even further, with quick access to Spring Hill, Paddington, Albion, and Bowen Hills. Spring Hill is a charming residential area filled with trendy cafes, while Paddington boasts a lively cafe culture and boutique shopping. Albion blends traditional and modern architecture, and Bowen Hills is an up-and-coming area with cool bars, restaurants, and cafes.

Getting Around:
Getting around Brisbane is easy from our location. If you're looking to explore popular destinations like South Bank, New Farm, and Teneriffe, public transportation is a convenient option. Bus routes 196, 199, and 60 stop right in front of our building, taking you to these areas in under 20 minutes. Alternatively, Uber and taxi services are readily available, with an average fare of $10 to the city and around $35 to the Brisbane Airport.

Other Things to Note:
To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, and pass through our verification portal.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:

You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.
You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.

Linen: We provide a full set of linens for each bed, a hand towel, face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.

Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay but we do not replenish, you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out.

Airtrip is an offsite property management, should have any questions or concern please reach out to us directly via the messaging platform.

Additional rules:
Please make a note of the following during your stay as we want all our guests to be able to enjoy the place over and over again. And again don't forget to have a fabulous stay!
- All extra guest must leave the premises by 10 pm
- Strictly no smoking inside the premises - any evidence of smoking will result in a $150 fine.
- No parties or events - any evidence of parties or events will result in a $150 fine.
- Key loss will result in a charge of $300; and $150 will be charged if you lock yourself out and ask the host for assistance after office hours.
-Our standard check-in time is at 3 PM. If you arrive after 9 PM, there will be a late check-in fee of $120.
- Check-out time is by 10 am. Late check-out will result in a charge of $40 per hour. Keys need to be returned to the store where you collected them from. Please leave your apartment tidy by washing your dishes and taking out any rubbish.
- Any FAULTS or BREAKAGES – please report any as and when it happens to ensure we can resolve it without any delays.
- Please note that additional cleaning charges will be applied for guests that leave the apartment in an unacceptable state.
- We only manage the apartments in the building and all of the building amenities are managed by the building management. Any amenity temporarily unavailable or under repair will be out of our control.

Complete lack of communication! Picking up the keys from the local convenience store was hard to find, then was handed a combination lock box with the keys inside. Had not received the combination from the booking agent and couldn’t open it, had to phone for the code, not a good start. Lift from the basement car park took u to the lobby, wasn’t told what level the room was on, had to ask front desk and was told they can’t help me with that booking because it’s through Wotif and not part of their portfolio… rude. Swipe key wouldn’t allow up to the room level, wasn’t aware there’s a second set of lifts hidden 100 metres away around a corner… Swipe key then wouldn’t allow back to basement car park in either set of lifts. Had to walk outside at street level, around the back of the high rise and into the car park down 2 levels to access car… completely disgusting. Will never stay here again or recommend to anyone!
