Great location to travel up and down the North Shore

Great location if you are wanting to travel up and down the North Shore. Many hikes and sights within a few miles . The property has a beautiful view of Lake Superior.

North Shore

The space was good for a couple, with nice views about 200 yards off the axtual lake. The fact that dining room, sitting living rooms and beds are all on different floors made for lots of stair climbing in between activities. Overall, a nice stay.

Great view of the lake

We enjoyed our stay at the townhome. From the pictures we didn’t know the loft bed was almost right outside the door from the bedroom. We didn’t end up using it because of the proximity. As two couples we had one use the basement and the other the bedroom. Three of us thought the mattresses were a bit too firm. The other person found it comfortable like they were getting a little hug. We all loved the view of the lake.

Perfect location!

This was our second visit to this property. It served us well the first time and was the right fit to visit again. It's a great location for hiking the local trails and close to a nice variety of restaurants in the area. Grand Marais is always a stop for us and it's a short, but beautiful drive to get there. The property is exactly as it shows on the pictures. The only downfall at this particular time was we weren't able to get down to the beach on Lake Superior. There were wooden steps at one end of the property, but the aluminum steps that would take you to the actual beach were out as they needed repairs of some sort. It was also good that I had reached out to the property manager prior to our stay to verify if we should bring along fans; which she did suggest. It was unusually warm and we needed the fans that were provided with the unit along with what we brought in order to be somewhat comfortable.
