Cedar Cliff ligger på en blindväg som går längs Lake Superior-stranden. Från det ögonblick du går genom dörrarna till detta otroliga hem kommer du att känna dig förvandlad.

Det magnifika stora rummet med en massiv Carlton Peak spis har ett antikt matbord med plats för 12 och ett drop-leaf engelskt bord med plats för 6 till. Två stora skärmade verandor flankerar detta rum och fönstren som löper längd har fönsterplatser för fågelskådning och läsning eller tittar på sjön. Franska dörrar i mitten öppna mot trappan som leder ner till vattnet. Norra stranden är känd för sina klumpiga klippor och vyer och vår strandlinje erbjuder en privat upplevelse av denna magnifika plats.

Ett fullt utrustat kök har en sexbrännare, professionell restaurangspis och ansluts till en charmig frukostkrog och skafferi. De sex sovrummen är bekvämt inredda med antikviteter, fina sängkläder och lokala konstverk. Sovrummen är inställda på baksidan av huset vilket ger integritet och separering från gruppaktiviteter i det stora rummet.

Cedar Cliff är en unik miljö för din semester på norra kusten och kombinerar gammaldags avkoppling med moderna bekvämligheter och många lokala attraktioner.

Gorgeous Arts and Crafts vintage home on Lake Superior. Beautifully furnished with "period pieces" and lots of cozy quilts. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with cookware and the huge fireplace was a delight to sit by. It was a wonderful home for my family's New Year's gathering.

Fabulous location for a large group

Such a beautiful place to stay, especially for larger groups. We come back every year because of the incredible view and the big stone fire place and the ability to sit our entire group together for dinner and give each couple their own room.

Our stay was great. A little problem with getting the code for the lock box but it was resolved. The house is a beautiful old home. We loved that there was plenty of room for all of us. The steps down to the lake were very steep so some in our party chose not to go down to the lake. The only other thing was that again some in our party would have liked a walk in shower but other than those two issues our stay was great. Loved the two screened in porches where you could hear and see the lake. Booked again for next year!

We stayed at this property for 4 days and it was perfect, the view is amazing, it’s bigger in person than what the pictures show. it was very spacious, the campfire area was beautiful, its very quiet but we did have a stranger walk up on the property though so make sure you are locking the doors!

Loved this place. 8 adults and 8 kids (ages 1-6), had an absolute blast for a Lutsen ski weekend. Can’t wait to come back! The pictures undersell how absolutely beautiful it is.

Beautiful Location, With a Sizeable and Charming House

The Cedar Cliff property is in a beautiful location overlooking Lake Superior! The house is older and charming, and the owners stocked it very well. It's only a 5 min drive to Eagle Mountain Ski Resort, and very close to the local General Store in Tofte that has everything that you'll need.

My name is Kathy and I have a boutique in Minneapols where we live. Doug is a musician and a software engineer. We have 5 children and 5 grandchildren . We enjoy being involved in the care and maintenence of Cedar Cliff and watching it bring such pleasure to its visitors.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Doug and I love the North Shore and wanted to share the magic with others and this was the perfect way to do it! We love the community and wanted to help support the local economy and bring more awareness of this incredible wilderness in our own back yard. We chose this large historic Craftsman because we love the quality and simplicity of the architecture and the ability to house large groups comfortably and most of all because we love the Lake! Being on a dead end road is a big plus and the location makes it easy to get to outdoor activies , shops and restaurants.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Cedar Cliff offers a truly unique North Shore experience. You have an entire house that was on the historic homes tour with an amazing Carlton Peak fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, organic coffee, tea and cocoa, wonderful bedding and quilts plus lots of character and lots of privacy.

We have hosted family reunions, yoga retreats, weddings, birthday celebrations, craft weekends, girlfriends weekends and workshops to name a few.

The Great Room is perfect for the group activities and the bedrooms are set to the back of the house for more peaceful quiet time. The two large screened porches give even more great relaxing lake time opportunities and you can even sleep out there on an air bed if you want!

We are a Green facility and use recycled and environmentally friendly products and high quality natural fibers in our linens, towels and rugs.

The biggest plus, of course, is the Lake. The feeling you get looking out over that vast expanse of water just has to be experienced.
