A charming homestead just 5 minutes to Tofte or Lutsen, this cozy, family style rental is the upper floor apartment of our house, with its own entrance, and private decks with view of Lake Superior (no shoreline access). Featuring 3 bedrooms with linens provided, full bathroom with shower and tub, towels and soap. The kitchen is furnished and includes a microwave, and dishwasher. Relax in the living room with free high speed Wifi and TV (Netflix only). Baseboard heat is thermostat controlled.

Bring your play gear! Enjoy our private trail into the Superior National Forrest for hiking or snowshoeing. Ride your bike on the paved Gitchi-Gami State Trail or explore the excellent dirt single track at Britton Peak in Tofte. Cross country ski on the Sugarbush trail system just minutes away at Oberg, or downhill ski and snowboard at Lutsen. Swim, canoe or fish in the nearby rivers, lakes and BWCA. Sleep well under a full sky of stars. Unless the northern lights are out... then you may just want to grab a hot cup of tea, and enjoy a campfire in the back yard. Groceries and good coffee are 5 minutes in either direction by car. Temperance river and Cascade State parks are 15 minutes away, and Grand Marais is 30 minutes.
