The ideal spot to spend time with friends and family. The fully stocked kitchen with both indoor and outdoor seating. Large decks at the house and at the lake. A large dock to enjoy the water. Catch a nice bass off the end of the dock.
An open concept log home decorated in a hunting lodge motif with four bedrooms offers room for everyone. Three bathrooms means no lineups! There’s an exercise area in the loft with yoga mats and a rowing machine. A chest full of games or a large screen TV for rainy days.
Beautiful sunsets to be enjoyed from the hot tub, the porch swing, the deck or down at the lake around the fire pit or sitting on the dock. The night sky bright with stars.
So many spots to relax as well as so many opportunities to enjoy the surroundings. Kayak, canoe, float or snorkel. The water is clear and the bottom is hard limestone. For those who want to fall asleep to the sound of the waves along the shore there is a hammock and a sleep bunkie at the lake.
BBQ and pellet smoker for preparing everyone’s favourite meals.
Great drinking water from the deep water well.
Complimentary egg service. Free range chickens living on the property will provide fresh eggs each morning.

We were a group of six adults and a baby and the house worked great for us. Nice size, great kitchen, nice deck, and nice dock down at the lake. Very peaceful and private.

Check-in process was flawless, the house was spotless and the kitchen had everything you needed to make your stay memorable. It was big enough for my family and then some. And the “Girls” were the icing on the cake, it was by far the most entertaining thing to do with a 2.5 year old-when we got up in the morning we let them out of the chicken coop, then feed them and then check later to see if they laid any eggs. By the end of our stay the “Girls” would come and greet you and let you pet them. Great memories for sure. After our event we were able to invite some family members to come and relax at the lake side dock and swim, fish, kayak or just sit and talk about your family weekend together and end it with a bbq up at the house. Would definitely recommend this log home to anyone and would like to stay here again down the road, thank you.

One of the very best places we’ve rented, EVER!

A spacious log cabin on a lovely and quiet lake. Very comfortable for our weeklong summer family gathering. If you like to cook (and we do), this is bar none the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever seen in a rental. Easy access to groceries in town and seasonal farm stands (bring cash). The hot tub is fantastic, maybe even life-changing. The kids loved taking care of the chickens and we had the best poached eggs of our lives. I kinda’ miss those girls as I write this…The owner is thoughtful, responsive and so welcoming. Check in & out was effortless. Lake entry is shallow & rocky (no jumping in) but the water is clear, and just the right temperature on a hot July day. We didn’t use the fire pit, so can’t comment. We’ve been renting vacation homes for 20 years all over (in & outside of Canada), this is one of the very best we’ve ever found. It’s clearly a beloved family cottage and for good reason.
