New Listing! Cozy one bedroom beach retreat with easy access to everything !!!

After a day savoring the delightful tourist spots which make Victoria and the island a world-renowned vacation area, you'll come home to a cozy one-bedroom suite, on a Quiet Cul de sac . Close to sand and water, trees and trails. Our comfortable one bedroom suite, with private access, is in a residential neighborhood next to Glen Lake, in the beautiful area of Langford. Our place is a short walk to sports fields, the YMCA, the Rugby Canada National Training Centre, Pacific Football Club, shopping, bowling, skating, theatres, groceries, and the galloping goose trail.

The kitchen is complete with a fridge, stove, microwave, Keurig, small appliances, pots, pans, and even a picnic basket complete with beach towels to support your adventures on the island.

We have Wi-Fi and cable TV. Our suite includes a stackable washer and dryer. Linens are supplied. The bathroom will have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer.

Bring your kayaks, paddleboards and fishing gear if you like as the lake is stocked with trout. You can fish off the dock or there's a small boat launch for boats with electric motors.

Very happy with our location. So glad we didn’t stay right in Victoria. Traffic is terrible since we were there last. Room was clean, good size, very comfortable. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

This place was great, owner was very attentive to all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again, just a few suggestions the bed and the couch could be upgraded to something a little more comfortable. And maybe add a head board to the bed.

Hidden Gem

Brian (John) and Susan’s home is beautiful and just what you need for a home away from home. They were lovely hosts. I really enjoyed the lake right behind their home and all the walking trails.

Beautiful Little Find

The hosts were very welcoming and self check-in was seamless. This location was convenient to explore Victoria, the south coast of the island & Butchart Garden and hikes to the north. The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

Home away from home

John and Susan were the perfect hosts!! Great communication and we really enjoyed our chats and suggestions for the area. The suite was a cozy coastal retreat with an inviting window seat to enjoy the lake view and many bird species visiting the garden. Super comfy bed, relaxing rain shower and well stocked kitchen. Central location was great for getting to all our favourite spots both in Victoria and Sooke. Thanks for such a wonderful experience and will be back!!

Living your best life in Langford at the sweet suite

This was a wonderfully sweet suite - such a cute, comfy, cozy place to stay. All one could need for a short or longer stay is provided, in this quaintly decorated and well equipped suite. Sitting at the window seat in the well appointed living room with your morning coffee, gazing beyond the garden, one can look out to the lovley lake view beyond. Then only a quick, brisk walk out the backyard gate and into the Glen Lake Park you will find a huge grassy area and picnic benches, a large play area and seasonal water park; not to mention the lake with a bridge to fish and swim or paddle off of. Not far from the house are many handy places to go, from hiking/biking trails, more lakes , beaches and many other activities, restaurants and shops close at hand. A great location to get around to many historical, cultural, and recreational activities and nature areas galore. And if all this isn’t enough, two of the nicest people to meet and greet you, who are very kind and exceptional hosts always communicating and helpful with numerous questions. They definitely went above and beyond for us, and I feel we met new friends . Thank you for the kind and generous hospitality!

February Retreat

Booked for the month, unfortunately due to health issues, had to cut retreat short. This place was very cosy and well beyond what I was expecting. The property managers are very exceptional and caring people. They really care and are there for their guests. My opinion, probably the the best on the Island!

We choose this little cul de sac for our home as it’s close to everything the outdoors has to offer . Being on a cul de sac it’s a very quiet neighborhood 😁👍

Our guest suite backs onto Glen Lake Park for kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing and has a nice view of the lake . It’s also 5 minutes from the Galloping Goose Trail for long bike rides or long walks
