This elaborate home boasts 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas and hosts a maximum of 10 guests.
Whether you're coming for a girls weekend of wine-tasting at the many vineyards Kumeu is so famous for, or if you're coming for a wedding at one of Kumeus up-market venues - it's all at your finger tips !
*Important* - We have a strict no parties/events/loud groups policy. Strictly no gatherings of any kind or any size. This is NOT a venue. We do not allow any additional guests at the property - only the number of guests who are booked to stay are allowed at the property during your stay. There are security cameras located outside the entrances and exits of the property. Noise must be kept to a minimum after 9pm out of respect for the neighbours who are very close. There are no cameras inside the home.
Only 6 minutes from Huapai Golf Club and 20 minutes from Muriwai Golf Course - and just over 20 mintes drive to Auckland CBD.
The house has two wings - all of which you will have entirely to yourself.
There are 5 bedrooms in total. The bedding configuration is 1x Queen, 1x Queen, 1x Queen, 2x King-Singles, 1x Set of Single bunk beds. The smaller wing of the house has 2 of the 5 bedrooms. They are connected, and you need to walk through the bedroom with the 2x King-Singles, to get to the bedroom with the Queen bed. The set up of this wing is perfect for parents with younger children who they want to be close to.
High-quality bedding and towels, including pool towels. are all provided for your stay.

The pool is not heated.
No smoking, and no pets allowed.
Noise must be kept to a minimum after 9pm out of respect for the neighbours who are close.
There is a pond on the property. It is down the driveway, but you will need to be careful that young children are not left to wander.

Great location and house

Great location, huge house and massive property, pool was so inviting. Whenever we had questions they were quickly answered. The only thing needed was a good vacuum and a dust but overall very happy.

Very spacious

Lots of room - 2 bedrooms accessed via the garage. Clean and well stocked. Our stay cut short by AirNZ flight change.

Lovely place for a weekend getaway from the big smoke

We stayed here for a weekend getaway with a group of friends, and it was a fantastic experience! The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. One important tip: read the host's instructions on how to get to the place—Google Maps led us astray, but the written directions were spot on. The house has a unique layout and can accommodate a large group. Be sure to read the room descriptions carefully so you know what to expect.

Dissapointing

Firstly. Ive never written a poor review before this one. The home was beautiful and roomy and very comfortable. But on arrival we quickly found issues that affected our stay such as no dishwashing liquid, a dishwasher with 2 pods for a two night stay, one tea towel, no salt and pepper, a shower that backed up so much we had other peoples hair floating around. (All crdit to them..they did come and fix this), early or late checkout an extra $60., no teaspoons. Dead flowers in vases. As I write this it seems petty but as the person organising the stay i was embarrased. The statement made was that it seemed the iwners were being greedy..no finishing touches as it states in the marketing.
