Nestled on 10 acres near the Montville side of Lake Baroon, just an 8-minute drive from the charming main street of Montville, Cockatoo Hideaway features two houses A Log Cabin and a Main House
Surrounding the houses, which are set back 1km from Narrows Road, are large grassed areas including an open fire pit. Adjoining the property is a stunning national park, offering bushwalks and opportunities to connect with the Australian landscape.
Both houses are newly renovated airconditioned (hot and cold), and each house has a modern kitchen and beautifully appointed bathroom.
The Cottage sleeps up to 5 people and has an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area adorned with modern furnishings. The Cottage has 2 bedrooms each has a queen bed with the larger room also having a single bed.The larger Log Cabin is on 2 levels and can sleep 8 people on 4 queen beds. The lower level has the lounge dining living area with a fireplace, the well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom. Ascend to the upper level, where a large loft-style room features 3 queen beds and a couch.
At Cockatoo Hideaway, you will enjoy relaxing and entertaining on the undercover deck, seamlessly linking the Cottage and Log Cabin, and being surrounded by a lush forest setting. Cockatoo Hideaway invites you to bask in the tranquility of your surroundings.

Please note that this property does not have Wi-Fi or internet- This property is accessed via an approximately 1km driveway, which includes dirt, gravel and bitumen. Extra low vehicles may find access difficult.

Any firewood provided to guests is not a mandatory inclusion and we recommend guests bring their own supply of firewood for use during their stay. Where firewood is provided, in general the supply may only be enough for a night or two and we recommend bringing your own firewood regardless.
