This was a perfect place for a brief getaway. A beautiful quiet setting so close to Parksville and surrounds. The accommodation was immaculately kept and had everything we needed to enjoy our time away.

Apon arrival, there is a nice privet driveway and cabin. The host (Leslie) was very accommodating. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend staying here. The wife and I will do just that if we are in the area again.

Peaceful oasis!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the barnacle loft. The place is very cozy with all the necessary amenities. The newly added BBQ on the deck was a great addition. The area is extremely peaceful, lots of birds around the property, great neighborhood walks and nearby beach access. The host is very lovely, she came to meet us a dinner time. The attention to details is quite noticeable and truly makes it a home away from home!

The loft was a perfect size for my husband and I. Everything was spotless and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to the beach and alongside the ridge. Short drive away to some great hikes ( the map on the loft’s wall was really handy). We loved our stay at this cute loft! Thank you Leslie for the hospitality and brownies!

Only steps from local access to beaches where you can go for a swim, launch your kayak or paddle board, or dive in the Madrona Dive Park. A favourite area for cycling and walking, or a short drive to hiking trails and Rathtrevor Beach Park makes for great exploring in beautiful island surroundings. We are within the Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Region, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, making wildlife and bird watching top picks in our area. Note: We are in the Regional District of Nanaimo and are not affected by the new provincial Short Term Rental legislation.
