The space also features stylish stone countertops, rattan light fixtures, and high-end stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator and freezer, an oven and stovetop, a dishwasher, and a farmhouse sink. The kitchen sits next to a sliding glass door that opens to an outdoor dining area, featuring a solid wood dining table that seats 14 next to a flat-screen TV. This space is also equipped with a BBQ grill, a small refrigerator, a sink, and countertops for food preparation.

The first three bedrooms have plush king-sized beds, while the second two have queen-sized beds. The fifth bedroom also has a sleeper sofa, as do the villa’s two living spaces. One of the ensuite bedrooms on the first floor is a private studio apartment, featuring a well-equipped kitchen with a wooden island, stone countertops, and stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator and freezer, oven and stovetop, sink, and microwave. This apartment also has a laundry machine.

Playa Potrero
Offering easy access to three beaches (Potrero, Penca and Prieta), this town combines upscale lodging options with the charm of a traditional Costa Rican town (think central plaza with church, school and soccer field).
There are plenty of restaurants, shops and other conveniences, and the downtown area has two mini supers (convenience stores), as well as a commercial plaza with a coffee shop, a hairdresser and other businesses.
Some of the liveliest nightlife in the region can be found at Las Brisas Bar, right on the beach, though it’s normally hopping only on Wednesdays (Ladies’ Night).
Potrero has several nice housing developments with “Villagio” in the name, popular among Italians and other expats. You can find Italian gelato shops, Costa Rican sodas (small, affordable restaurants) and hotels in a range of prices (Pitaya Lodge, Bahía La Esmeralda, Hotel Isolina, Bahía del Sol).
