Rating 3 Most owners are both responsive and willing to undertake the necessary effort to deliver a good product. This reassures my family on the integrity of the VRBO platform. However, we felt it is important to comment on the wide difference between the rating and the experience. We rented the top floor of single home duplex based on a web description of a âbeautifulâ apartment with five reviewers giving it a stellar rating of 10. The unit and experience was something entirely different and cleary misrespresented the property. It is likely the reviews were either staged or certainly not the result on an independent assessment of someone who stayed in the apartment. Pros:The unit was quiet,Towels and sheets were cleanRelatively new refrigerator. The TV worked To access the unit, you have to climb two stairs in the rear of the building. The first outdoor set is rickety and old, the second indoor is steep and with narrow dirty steps.The unit smelled with large black areas on the hardwood floor near the kitchen and in the living room, suggestive of potential mold under the linoleum and hardwood floors.
