Please be advised that the building is older and full of character, which means it may come with a few quirksâlike occasionally temperamental plumbing. There's also a lively local pub just across the road that features live music on some evenings, usually wrapping up around 10:30pm. If you're looking for a stay with charm, personality, and a bit of local flavor, this spot is a great fit!

BEDROOM:
The bedroom has a queen-sized bed topped with professionally cleaned and pressed linen. It also has a wardrobe space for your luggage and is equipped with a split system AC for both heating and cooling.
BATHROOM:
The bathroom has a bathtub, shower, and toilet. We provide bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and body wash. You may need to restock depending on usage frequency and length of stay.
KITCHEN:
You can use the kitchen if you're craving a home-cooked meal. The kitchen is equipped with:
- fridge/freezer
- stovetop
- microwave
- oven
- crockery and cutlery
We stock a simple food selection for breakfast, such as milk, coffee, and tea. Guests will need to purchase food items for longer stays.
LIVING ROOM:
The living room has a 50" smart TV, which you can use to access your Netflix account. It also has access to all local channels. We don't provide subscriptions to Netflix and other online streaming platforms, so you must use your account.
LAUNDRY AREA:
The laundry room at the back of the property has two washing machines and a dryer for your use. There are also outdoor clotheslines, pegs, and washing baskets available. Please note that washing detergent is provided, but you may need to buy more during your stay. For the colder months, there is an indoor clothesline in the lounge room cupboard. Remember to use your code throughout your stay and lock the building after use to prevent unauthorized access.
PARKING AREA: A parking area is available on a first-come, first serve basis. However, if it's full, you can consider the nearby paid parking options listed below with their distance and estimated driving time:

Check in information will be sent two days before your check in date and any codes will be sent four hours before your arrival, to prevent fraudulent bookings.
There is a key safe for self-check-in. The keys are located in the laundry in the middle of the carpark at the rear of Jaylu Flats. Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee. Losing the keys or leaving it inside the apartment will incur a minimum of $355 charge

Jaylu Flats is located in the heart of Fremantle, a bustling location that offers the famous Fremantle lifestyle. The apartment offers spectacular views of the Fremantle Markets, which are located just down Henderson Street. From here, you can easily walk to a wide range of restaurants, eateries, and historical sites and enjoy endless entertainment opportunities along the Cappuccino Strip and beyond. The apartment is just a few minutes away from premier beaches and river precincts and is conveniently located near public transport. Fremantle is a central hub of history and entertainment and is currently undergoing significant renewal projects.
If you're a guest who won't be bringing a vehicle, there are several options for getting around the area. Personally, I prefer using Uber or taxis, but there are also a few train stations and bus stops nearby. Here are some options with their distance and travel time:
1. High St After Parry St (bus stop) - 500m, 1-minute drive
2. High St After Queen St (bus stop) - 190m, 1-minute drive
3. Queen Street After Adelaide St (bus stop) - 280m, 1-minute drive
4. Fremantle near Phillimore St (train station) - 500m, 8-minute walk or 2-minute drive
There will be works in the place, commencing on Friday, 7 July:
I. Staircases:
Please know that there will be expected noise from the works and concreting.
II. Exploration work on drainage - digging up car parks
Please be informed as well that there will be no access to car parks, hence, please secure paid parking in nearby streets, see below for options:

NOTE: The ceiling fans can be switched to winter mode but it won't "heat" the room.
Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages.
1. Please let us know if you need to check in early or leave later than the standard times. We will charge $110 for each hour of non-scheduled delay to check out after 10 am.
2. I have a STRICT "No Pets Policy" except for service or emotional support animals and "No Smoking Policy". These are applicable inside and outside of the property. Any breach will result in a fine of $400 plus any additional fees for specialised cleaning.
3. The cleaning fee covers the general cleaning and replacement of quality linen in the property. Please try to leave the place as tidy as possible. If the property is extra messy when you leave, an extra cleaning fee will be charged (minimum of $50).
4. Please be sure you understand our cancellation policies. You can find our current policy via your booking channel.
5. Only those persons who made the reservation may stay at our property. If you're a business or government agency booking for other people, please contact us in advance to ensure access details are made clear.
6. No parties or gatherings of more than the maximum number of booked guests are permitted. All non-guests must leave the home by 10:00 pm. No loud noises or music are permitted after 10:00 pm. There is a $2000 penalty for breaching this rule.
7. Some consumable items have been left for you in the kitchen (tea, coffee, sugar, milk), that you are most welcome to use. Also, the pantry has a few basics - no need to ask, just help yourself. We don't stock the refrigerator or provide any meals.
8. The property is not child-proofed and we don't have specific amenities for infants (i.e. high chair, cot). However, children under adult supervision are permitted.
