Prior Lodge as it is known today, was originally built circa 1897 by Sir William Lyne, (Premier of N S Wand a member of early federal cabinets) as his country residence. Sir William spent considerable time in the mountains and officially opened the Federal Pass track from Katoomba Falls to Leura Falls in 1900.
The property has recently been extended and beautifully upgraded to restore and build on this amazing history creating a large stunning mountains retreat.
Your retreat is embraced by nature, offering garden and spectacular escarpment views from the deck and patio. Start your mornings by admiring the view as you indulge in a delicious breakfast. Dedicate plush afternoons lounging away or stirring up memories in the combined kitchen, dining, and lounge area fully equipped with all your culinary needs.
This is a home for reading, relaxing, talking, sitting in front of the fire and playing games together. Please note that whilst wi-fi is available the owners made a decision not to install TVs because they loved the way their own family gathered together without them.

Perched at the top of Lovel street with views towards Mount Solitary and the Jamison Valley, sits this unique residence on a very spacious block. Just a short 450m from Katoomba Township and train station or 1500 meters into Leura Village,

Please note the tariff is based on 6 guests. If you have more than 6 staying, please enter the correct number to get the correct tariff. Maximum 12 guests.

All long weekends are a minimum 3-night stay, all public holidays are charged at the weekend tariff and Easter is a minimum 4-night stay.

All beds will be made with quality linen before your arrival including doonas, pillows, bath towels, bath mats & hand towels. Tea towels are also provided for the kitchen.

Respect for our neighbours is paramount so we ask that noise be kept to a respectful level while in residence. In addition, please enter and leave the property quietly.
