Pigna: villor

We spent an unforgettable week in this spacious and comfortable villa with a stunning view over the Mediterranean and the Ligurian riviera. The kids (age 7 and 10) just loved the pool and so did we all (Grandmother, two sons and their wives and two grandkids=7 of us in all). There was plenty of room for all of us and many nice places to visit in the area, suiting both young and old. The road from Camporosso up to the small village of San Giacomo, where the Villa is situated, is quite narrow and steep but we soon got used to it. Every morning two or three of us popped down to the indoor market in Ventimiglia to pick up some fresh bread, fruits and vegetables. When we didn´t feel like cooking there were plenty of good restaurants in the area, ten to twenty minutes drive away. The Conad Superstore in nearby Vallecrosia is also worth mentioning. We flew to Nice where we rented a couple of cars - which is a must to reach the villa and to get your way around in Liguria. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and would love to come back one day.
