The cottage was clean and tidy. Second to none. (BETTER THAN ANY WE HAVE BEEN IN BEFORE.) The owners Matthew and Helen were so polite, respectful, approachable and friendly and they had thought of everythong tjat you would need for your stay.
This is the third time I have spent at this wonderful property. It is located right in Mevagissey, a short stroll to the harbour and the coastal path. Already planning my return!
The cottage is very pretty with fantastic views, well equipped with very comfortable beds and very clean.
I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage is a very pretty location.
This is a lovely cottage with good size rooms and a comfortable bed. The kitchen has plenty of cutlery, pots and pans, crockery and glasses. It also has plenty of cupboard space for food, We had control of the heating thermostat so were always warm enough.
Matthew was a great host. My husband and I are both disabled and Matthew offered to help with the luggage. He also helped get my wheelchair into the house to be charged as we couldn't managed due to the gravel path and back out the next morning. We had a problem with the power going off on the first evening and Matthew was round within a couple of minutes of my texting him. He arranged for an electrician to come and kept me informed when they were going into the cottage and what the outcome was. The electrician said that the dishwasher was faulty and Matthew went out the next morning to buy another one. I've never had a problem sorted as quickly in a holiday home as this one was. We just couldn't fault it. My husband thinks I should have given 10 stars out of five. I wish I could. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage.
Haven't stayed this coast before and we think we preferred North. The cottage was perfect for us if not a little remote for younger members of family. There was everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and we really appreciated the welcome pack including scones, cream and jam😋and fresh cut flowers were a lovely gesture. Would definitely return again just for the total peace and quiet. Loved it!
Lovely cottage very well equipped and clean. All mod cons .. at the bottom of a steep hill. If you bring little ones here I would be wary of the busy main rd outside the cottage and the inability to park close by. Parking is on the main car park it’s free with the property about 5-10 min walk away. Not a problem for us .. it’s near to the beautiful harbour and pubs ,shops and restaurants. I recommend you book the restaurants early otherwise you will not get a reservation. We think the salamander was our favourite.
