Lovely stay in beautiful Mevagissey in this spacious, family house with great views. Loved the big rooms, views, garden and location. One parking space allotted but was easy to find free parking spaces just up the hill- we had two cars!
I feel like I discovered the shiniest hidden gem in Mevagissey! The cottage and view are magnificent, and the house very well-appointed and CHARMING! It's close enough to the hear tof the harbour that I wanted for nothing, but far enough away to feel peace and security.Tamsin is a superb host with great communication and instructions. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!
The property is ideally situated approximately 200 lm from the harbour, shops and restaurants. It has three floor levels with views over the harbour, fully furnished with nothing missing for a large family to have a great long stay.Very clean and tidy, I hope that I can rebook it next summer. This property is excellent thank you very much for a great time.Peter Newton.L
Lovely house set over 3 floors, with beautiful views over the town & harbour. House is well equipped, and comfortably furnished.Parking for the car was bit tight, but we have a fairly big 4x4, and it was good to have our own space. Would definitely go back.
This was our second visit and we had another lovely stay. Such a comfortable property with everything you need for a get-away. We absolutely love Mevagissey and the cottage is so relaxing and just a stones throw away from the harbour. We will definitely be back!

Thanks for your review Verity. Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Come and visit us again soon!
We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Tamsin was a fantastic host and responded quickly to any questions we had.The directions provided were really helpful — definitely needed — and parking was easy. If the cottage parking space is too tight, we managed in our Jarcoo, there are car parks just a short walk away, and you can pull up outside to unload your belongings. There are so many great places to eat within walking distance, and Tamsin kindly left recommendations for her favourite spots, which we really enjoyed trying. There are a few steps inside the cottage and down into the town, but my 82-year-old mum managed them well.Thank you, Tamsin — we’d definitely come back. There’s still so much more to see and do!

About the host
Hosted by Tamsin Moyle
I used to come to Meva as a child and have the best memories of watching the fishermen bring in their catch, eating fish and chips on the harbour and exploring the rocks and beaches nearby. I wanted my three young children to experience Cornish holidays the way I did. We found Prospect Cottage in 2016 and it had been empty and unloved for a few years - it was not in good shape! A lot of hard work has gone in to bringing it back to it's best. It's a beautiful house in a very special place and I hope you love it as much as we do.
