Sandy Point villa rentals

Rocky Top Villa is tranquil, comfortable, and well-equipped. The views from the deck are phenomenal and a wonderful way to start and end the day. The night sky will please any stargazer. The location on Bottle Creek is well-situated to explore the beaches and natural beauty of North and Middle Caicos.We enjoyed snorkeling just off Wild Cow Run with a local guide, exploring Pumpkin Bluff and Indian Cave, learning about early inhabitants, and hanging out with the bats in the Conch Bar Cave system. Sandy Point and Bambarra beaches are great swimming spots. We took in the beauty of Dragon Cay after a satisfying lunch at Mudjin Grill (we liked it so much we went back!). The relatively new Cilantros restaurant was tasty and Chef Neil came by and sought our feedback and talked with us about his vision for future menu offerings.Patti and Bob and their property manager are gracious, helpful hosts. And Bob's beautiful watercolor paintings adorn some of the walls! All in all, RTV is a great place to stay, relax and unwind, and explore the islands and the ocean.

Best VRBO I’ve stayed in and I’ve seen some good ones

I’ve had the good fortune to travel all over for both work and leisure and I’ve stayed at some great places over the years, but this place really takes the cake. From the gorgeous, secluded location to the immediate proximity to world class fishing, this place has it all. John (host) could not have been more accommodating. From the restaurant and points of interest suggestions to helping us secure paddle boards to explore Bottle Creek, John truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable week. Already planning to make this an annual trip! This gorgeous house is spacious and clean and fully equipped with all the creature comforts of home so you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet of this spectacular gem of an island.

This place is paradise. Everything I imagined and more. Location, beach, and management all 5 stars.

Third time to North Caicos. This was a mid-July visit. The house was nice and clean. Everything worked as advertised. Master king bed bedroom has 180 degree sliding doors that face the ocean and a private soak tub/shower. So nice to wake up looking at the ocean. The other bedroom is a queen bed with a set of bunkbeds and use the house shower/bathroom. AC in both bedrooms and a main house unit too. We never turned the main house AC on but used the room ones every night at 72 and set them to 82 degrees during the day to knock off the humidity so if a cool spot was needed we had one (did not need). (you pay extra for ac electric use. 7 days cost us $104) Ocean air blows through the main house with all the windows open so it stayed pretty cool in the main house even in the heat of the day. Plenty of cook and serving ware. Blender. Drip type Coffee maker. Large water purifier was awesome. Water tasted clean and perfect (I'm a water snob) gas grill. Kayaks. Water Floats. Pool was perfect. Of course, the beach and ocean are some of the best we have seen. One of the only places where you can walk the beach and swim and rarely see other people. We counted seeing 7 other people over the period of 7 days on this beach. Some were the same people. VERY serene introspection-type place. If you want night life, go somewhere else. This place is not for you. We thoroughly enjoyed this place. Rent a car from Al’s to see Mudjin Harbor, Bambarra Beach, Three Mary Cay. Caves. Completely safe.

The property is exactly as described in the photos and description. While the living room could benefit from more plush seating, overall everything was clean and comfortable and exactly as expected. The rooms are all roomy, and the private pool, while not huge, was perfect for a clean freshwater dip while lounging on the huge outdoor patio. The views of the ocean from the home are a delight and while there is no "epic" clean beach directly in front of the unit, and short hike takes you to horsestable beach which is gorgeous clean sandy beach without seaweed. Wonderful place, and the host was absolutely terrific. Just be aware that North Caicos is fairly remote with not much going on and limited excursions. If you are up for that, then you will enjoy yourself at this beautiful private villa, as we did.

Regine was extremely helpful before and during the stay. She helped us get our bags to and from the ferry as the car was not big enough for a family and luggage. Kadre who provides the rental car was equally wonderful. We had a couple of issues on the property while we were there (shower in one bedroom stopped working and tumble dryer was not operational) but Regine and Paul went above and beyond to help as much as they could. Paul managed to get hold of a new tumble dryer during the festive season and had a plumber at the villa for us on Christmas Day. It is a beautiful villa and location. North and Middle Caicos has some stunning beaches that feel almost unreal. Most notable is Mudjin Harbour. We had some good snorkeling there as well as at Three Mary Keys. We had a tough time with the No-seuums. As many other reviews have said this is a beautiful place but it is rustic. So come prepared to enjoy the outdoors and take the recommendation to use baby oil and deet from around 3pm to avoid no-seeum bites from the start. Be understanding that this is a small island without the usual conveniences of a city and that if something does break it may take a while to fix despite people’s best efforts. The beach directly outside the villa is rocky but a couple minutes walk in either direction takes you to beautiful swimming beaches. Great shelling on the beach to the left of The Barracuda bar (which is a must visit:)). We were a group of 9 with 5 kids between 3 and 12 and had everything we needed to cook meals at the villa and fit comfortably. Make sure to book a second rental car if you’re a big group. We had a car for each family which was essential. The grocery stores in North Caicos had most of what we needed. But it did help that we picked up initial supplies in Provo before taking the ferry over.

This property is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The beach is unrivaled. The house is newly updated, well maintained, and clean. All the kitchen tools and household things you need are there. This part of North Caicos is pretty secluded and quiet, which is exactly what we wanted. Lynn was extremely helpful and responsive, and Mac picked us up and manages the house and was so helpful as well. I will definitely return one day!
