Find lake rentals near Catalan Beach

I had such a relaxing and peaceful stay in Niolon. The property is very clean and comfortable, with a superb terrace. Communication prior to my stay was excellent. I first visited Niolon over 10 years ago and it seems exactly the same, which is good to see! It's easy to reach by train if you're not driving, just a five minute walk from the station.In July the terrace had sun from early morning to early evening and the view of the cove and the bay of Marseille is beautiful. It's also great for watching the sky change colour over Marseille at sunset. It was so nice to be just a couple of minutes' walk away from the water when you fancy a swim! Niolon is a really good swimming/snorkelling spot as the water is so calm and clear. The property is also just a minute's walk from the small delicatessen and ice cream shop - perfect! : )

very clean and functional property, lovely large terrace with great views over harbour. Felt very private. Sliding doors to terrace from kitchen-diner and bedroom were a real plus. Lovely plants to the entrance. We found it a bit of a haul up from car park to property with a suitcase. Bus every half hour during the day from the bottom of the road could be visited using public transport though no local shops. Don't forget your sheets and towels!

The apartment was in a superb location with good transport links to the city, but the star was Nelly the host who went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was very welcome and the view from the balcony was brilliant.

The place was only few minutes from different beaches, few minutes from L’ESTAQUE port, you have every thing you need there for evening out, the apartment was spot on, well looked after, new and clean, the air con dd really help…the host was very pleasant, and supportive, definitely I will go back there .thank you.

A lovely well equipped apartment in a quiet street in Le Panier - the historic centre of Marseille - and only five or six minutes walk from the old port. The hosts, Janet and Benoit, were responsive and made us feel very welcome. We would love to stay here again if we return to Marseille.

This little house is as described, clean, comfortable and very well equipped, Edith and Jean the owners were there to greet me and explain everything and when a heavy thunderstorm took the internet out they were quite prepared to come and fix it, thankfully it righted itself and there was no need. I have rated the area as a 4/5 simply because as others have stated it is little industrial and not as pretty as some other quintessential French villages, however don’t let this put you off, you are close enough to Marseille to enjoy it, but far enough away to ignore it, there is plentiful transport links if your prepared to walk a short way and the local shops are enough to fill your cupboards stocked. I would heartily recommend this property and would have no qualms in returning if I want to return to this area again.
