Find lake rentals near Spinola Bay

Our family holiday to celebrate our daughter getting married was wonderful from start to finish! When we arrived it was even more amazing than I imagined! Everyone was blown away by the villa, view, pool, bedrooms, 3 games rooms and of course Spa. We were in a great location for walking to shops, restaurants etc..We hired a private catering company to come to the villa and do a rehearsal dinner for our daughter getting married. Both families stayed on the bride and grooms side and there was more than enough space to not being ontop of each other. The manager was friendly. Maybe a quicker response with help booking catering and a yatch would have been helpful as we didn't get a response so we did it ourselves. Also there was a tiny mirror in the bedroom by the pool which was too small to do make up or use, so a bigger one would be great and the cupboards didn't have long hanging space in any room for long dresses. Maybe some hooks for dressing gowns would make it even more perfect. It definitely was a magical experience and we would have loved to stay more than a week as it flew by.Thank you

We loved our stay at Margherita Villas. The host, Margaret, is fantastic, attentive and easily contactable. The apartments are located in a quiet part of Mellieha, with easy walking access to restaurants and supermarkets - so for food, all bases are easily covered. As a family of 9 we rented all 3 flats. Flats 2 and 3, on the first floor, have an interconnecting door, and share a wonderful, very large balcony where we enjoyed loads of lovely morning sun (at the end of October/start of November). Flat 1 is on the ground floor, and opens out directly onto the pool. Although it wasn't an issue for us, we weren't aware that we had booked 3 separate flats - it may be in the description but we missed it. All of the flats were well stocked with everything you could need. The pool and pool area is great, and just what we needed for the family's four kids (aged between 3 and 9). We thought this Villa was excellent and would definitely recommend it. As people have said before me, the pictures don't do this place justice - it's massive!

Very well equipped apartment, much larger than expected. Great location. Excellent communication from Joe and Chris, the hosts, before and during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend it and hope to visit again next year.

We loved our stay at Andrea's place. It was situated perfecrty for us. Andrea was the perfect host. We woukd definitely stay again.

To be honest its the pool that sells this property. Great for all kids and adults ( water was little cold for late October) but fantastic views and good location - short walk from all the restaurants and shops. Rooms are big, and as expected from the photos. Main bathroom was nice with a decent shower! Check in and out was easy and the owners were helpful and pleasant. Property was clean and overall a smooth and easy stay

The apartment is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Check in/out was very easy. We would happily stay here again.

The nine of us really enjoyed ourselves here - it was a stunning villa. We came during the week of Santa Marija so there were amazing fireworks every evening of which we had a great view from the top of the tower. But lots of confusion over availability of a chef - the advertised chef turned out to be working in Corfu all summer, and the next choice never responded. It would save a lot of irritation if the property manager made arrangements directly with the chef!!

Beautifully yet homely house set in remarkably peaceful and extensive gardens - it feels a real privilege to spend some time here. Imqabba is a small town but the local Maltese people made us welcome and it provides bread and provisions enough to make most forms of catering simple without long treks out for shopping. If you are fortunate to be there for festa times the levels of decoration, fireworks and universal involvement are uplifting and fascinating particularly if you have a relish for silver bands... Margaret the owner is easy to work with and Robert the local contact is also extremely helpful. Our family all had time to relax and talk and still see much of what malta has to offer. Thank you!
