Located in a fantastic river valley with a fascinating heritage of restored water mills, the house makes a great base for exploring the quiet northern part of the island. We enjoyed using one of the BBQs, and having ice cream from the shop next door was a treat. Highly recommended.

We were a party of 6 of which 3 are in their 80's. Bruno was amazing and arranged for a Birthday Cake for one of the group who was 83 on the day we arrived. Susana met us at the house and helped us settle in. The house was clean and comfortable and we loved the garden. Thanks to both Bruno and Susana for a few great days.

A lovely cottage up the lane from Furnas. It was spotlessly clean and Sonia could not have been more helpful. Her communication was excellent right through and the family loved it. It was used by two couples and had everything needed for a weeks stay. The location of the property is about 1 mile from the town up a steep hill, which is walkable but for people with mobility issues, a car would be essential. The benefit of this is that it is a very quiet and peaceful spot. Thank you
