This is a wonderful, fully equipped house.The house was lovely and warm on arrival, with plenty of logs for the fire . The beds were very comfy and warm.The house had everything we needed for a week walking in the hills

We booked so we could take Bella our little Shihtzu away from the fireworks and she loved it so peaceful and the views amazing. The welcome gifts were lovely too. Linsey and Steve are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble and their dog Jet is gorgeous and so loveable. Can’t wait to go back.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our fourth visit to the Manse as a family and we love it. It was a wet and muddy week. We went on walks then dried out inside while playing games and doing jigsaws. A beautiful part of the country even in the rain and mist.

Excellent communication from Phil before, during and after our stay. Really made us feel welcome. Great location for accessing the Yorkshire Dales. There was a nearby pub within walking distance and it was great to visit Aysgarth Falls and Malham. A cosy cottage which was well equipped. Would highly recommend.

A truly spectacular property in very good condition, with everything you could need. Scrupulously clean. Well equipped kitchen which was a joy to cook in. Lots of comfy places to curl up with a book or join in family games. The pool is gorgeous. The only setback for us was that the house is very isolated and there was nothing (apart from spectacular walks and views) for miles around, so every trip or meal out for our group of 11 meant 3 people did a lot of driving, on top of long journeys to and from Yorkshire (from as far as Brussels). None of this detracts from the loveliness of our week or our desire to return.

The cottage has lovely fittings, and is very comfortable, and clean. Would easily accommodate 4-6 people. Some nice touches from the owner, eggs, logs, etc… very easy to stay here, and great access to Sedbergh, Hawes and the wider Dales .

A very comfortable & well maintained house in a spectacular spot looking across the valley. Reached by a rough track, there are several walks & mountain bike routes direct from the cottage. A very useful open garage for storing bikes. A large open fire- bring plenty of logs! Perfect spot for exploring the moors & villages below.
