Its main asset is its location as it’s set in a very dramatic landscape a few minutes walk from the very beautiful Lake Inagh.Dolores is an excellent host - friendly, helpful and reassuringly at the end of a phone if needed.The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the local area withKylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord, Achill Island and Innishbofin Island all within easy reach.We certainly plan to return there.

Views to die for! They bring me back year after year. There is space and comfort in this house. I like the isolation but you need to know that you have to drive to a shop or restaurant. I do miss the access to the garden and sea, now a bit overgrown.

Fantastic cottage in Rosmuc. It’s about 5 km off the main road in a little hamlet with stunning views on all sides - sea and hills. The house is immaculately clean, with plenty of space for a family of 5, with 3 grown-up children. The kitchen has everything you will need. The living room has views on three sides, so no matter the weather you can be immersed in the landscape. The solid fuel stove keeps the space toasty warm. On good days the garden has seats to sit outside. Just be aware that you’re advised not to drink the water from the taps, so bring bottled water. Enjoy!!

On the whole our 4 night stay was excellent. John and his wife were brilliant especially helping me with my disabled dad. The house is great and views breathtaking, Will be definitely coming back in the future !!!!! Noel
