  • Loved this property!

"The deck and those stunning views were hard to leave. Lovely home, comfy beds, cozy blankets and reading nooks. Lots of space and the kitchen is well appointed. Amanda was so accommodating as we had a few special requests. We highly recommend this private piece of heaven. G and L Brophy"

  • The pictures do not do it Justice!

"The pictures did not do it justice! Very clean, well stocked, and quality appliances. My favourite place was in front of the wood stove cuddling with the kids while it down poured outside. My family and I rented the Arbutus cabin with the King and Queen bedrooms and the mattresses were SO comfortable! The kids loved being close to the water and there is a cute little beach just 2 mins away from your door step. We also saw an Emu when we were headed to the beach. The only thing that I thought was missing was a hot tub! Even though I am pregnant and couldn't participate I thought it would have been a nice addition. :) Everything was spic and span when we arrived but we did have some eight legged company that gave my Mom a heart attack Overall I will definitely rent this place again!"

  • Simply superb

"This is a wonderfully secluded and yet prominently located log cabin comfortably set back from the cliff that drops down to Active Pass. You get the sense of being perched in the clouds. The vista to the west is stunning, especially early morning and evening. The ferries all pass through and they are a pleasure to watch and to hear their whistles sound. The first one is early, but you want to be an early riser to enjoy every minute of your stay. While technically a cabin, it has all the comforts of home and is extremely well equipped. Keep an eye on the water below as we saw orcas swim by early one evening. The most magical aspect was the sound they make. The treck to the beach is rigorous, but if you are moderately fit, no problem, and well worth the effort. The hosts are extremely responsive and friendly, although there was nothing we needed. We had a 10 day stay, and enjoyed every minute."
