  • Warm home, warm hosts

"What a beautiful place to stay in Cowichan. The home was clean and bright with big windows onto mountain views. We could see the Llamas coming for breakfast in the morning. Although evenings were cold outsides the house was cozy inside and we didn't bother with the wood stove. The kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans etc. And we found local lamb, local vegetables and wonderful local wine. Our hostess even offered fresh herbs and apples from her own gardens and orchard. It was the perfect base for hiking along the Cowichan River, looking for wineries, and a short drive to the theatre in Chemainus. I sat outside to read, glass of wine in hand, in the late afternoon sun and a friendly cat came to join me. Two bedrooms, a bath and a half and even a laundry made it comfy for two couples. Thanks so much, we'll be back - Iain and Maggie"

  • A Condo worth coming to each year

"We enjoyed the condo as we were there two years ago with our grandchildren and again this time. The tennis court, playground, ring toss and badminton and the swimming pool kept the grandkids busy every day. The condo was supplied with everything we needed. Just had to supply food. We have told friends about the condo and are thinking about it for their next vacation. In Ladysmith their is a bakery that has great cinnamon buns and Roberts Pizza is very good. The condo was very clean and maintained."

  • Primo Condo

"This place is really great. From the manager/owner to all the comforts of home & the beautiful views. It is nice and quiet ,off the beaten path. The grounds are lovely and we would walk daily down to the pier, sit & take in the view & fresh air. You really feel like you are with nature looking out the windows and seeing water & trees. There were 3 of us so we give it 6 thumbs up!"
