  • Great Place to Explor the Shuswap Area

"My friends and I stayed here from Sept.10 to 13 and found it an excellent spot from which to explore what the area has to offer. In addition to spending time on the deck, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views, we visited some local wineries and the Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge. My husband had a great time fishing from the kayak (caught a Coho salmon). The house is very comfortable and we weren't lacking for anything. Thanks for allowing us to share your spot on the Little Shuswap!"

  • What A Gem

"This place exceeded our expectations. We are a family of seven and were very comfortable in the space. It is immaculately clean and had all the little comforts of home. The hosts, Eric and Sandy are lovely good people. Very close to the beach, in very peaceful surroundings. I would recommend it highly, It is very good value for money, and we would definitely go back. It was a lovely trip and allowed us to create some special family memories. Thank you Sandy & Eric!"

  • Best 40th Birthday Bash Ever!

"A group of friends stayed at Blueberry for my friends 40th Birthday. In total, there were probably around 25 people including kids. The birthday boy and immediate family stayed in the main cabin which worked out perfectly. We also used this cabin as the main cooking area and to enjoy the amazing views at Blueberry. We took all, but one, of the public camping spots right on the beach and a few people brought motorhomes. There is no where to service the motorhomes so they didn't get power, but they were mainly used to sleep in. We spent most of our days down at the beach which is boat access only (unless you stay at Blueberry!) so it is very private. The water was the perfect temperature, our kids basically lived in the lake. We brought a canoe and a paddle board and enjoyed them on the lake. One day we rented a boat in town which was a 20-30min drive away and then just docked it on the beach all day when we weren't using it. We hiked to the local waterfall which was a super easy hike and very beautiful. My 5 year old and 3 year old twins had no problem doing the loop. I think it took about 1.5 hours with stops along the way to see the falls. I didn't notice any mosquitos at this time of year. Steve, the owner is super accommodating and really wants his guests to have the most memorable time. A lot of the people we went up with were into jamming so there were a lot of instruments around. One night it happened to rain, so Steve cleared out part of his massive garage and set up a stage and brought down a generator. This is were we spent most of our evenings! There is a town about 15 min drive away if you need any supplies or ice. If you are looking for something off the beaten path, that is breathtakingly beautiful, quite and relaxing, then this rental is for you!!"
