  • Great little cottage - a short drive from Toronto

"My fiancée and I stayed here for 3 nights in June 2016 and had a wonderful time! We chose it mainly due to the proximity to Toronto (about 2 hr drive). The cottage was very easy to get to and very quiet with the exception of the odd car coming down the road. The cottage itself was very clean and had pretty much everything you would need in case you forgot something. There is satellite tv, wifi, and a DVD player available so lots of options for indoor entertainment. The wifi wasn’t working for us but we didn’t mind as we didn’t go there to surf the net. We sat out on the deck and used the BBQ a lot. The fire pit was very convenient and offers some serenity in the evening. Bring your own firewood as none was provided. If you enjoy hiking, I recommend Hardy Lake Conservation Park which is about a 5 min drive west of the cottage (or 20 min walk). It has a 8km and a 3km trail. Bring your mosquito repellant and all the things you would need. There is a point on Hardy Lake where you can swim across so bring a waterproof bag if possible (we wish we did as it was 30 degrees and offers a shortcut back to the parking lot). We had a great time and the owners (Ted and Lesley) were very helpful and took the time to answer any questions we had. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway that isn’t too far of a drive, I would definitely recommend this cottage."

  • Great location and well maintained cottage

"My wife & I spent 5 days at Lori's cottage. The booking process was great and Lori was very responsive. It is a perfect location for just relaxing, or as a home base for travelling to places like Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville. Very clean, organized and ready to use. We went in the fall and the tree colours were in full force - very picturesque. If you wish to use the dock or enjoy the canoe, be ready for a hike down the trail and back up again - it's a good workout :-) We will consider this location in the future for sure."

  • Family moon

"Property is very well maintained, has all the comforts of home. The owners Marshall and Stephanie were very helpful with attractions and stores in the area (especially the Bakery). Beautiful lake great for swimming, boarding, skiing and fishing (our grandsons were excited as they caught a fish on every outing) or just relaxing on the dock. Sitting around the fire was a family favourite. Family from England loved the area, lots to see and do. Our last evening was dinner at the Dockside, great eating. A great place for a family holiday..highly recommend it."

  • Excellent stay on Muskoka Lake

"My family of 6 had an excellent stay at this cottage on Lake Muskoka. Highly recommend it. The cottage was in great shape and was very clean. The patio overlooked the lake but still has enough shade to keep comfortable. The dock was perfect for my boat. My 2 daughters had a great time tubing and fishing. Major plus is the sandy beach. Location is great, 10 minutes from Gravenhurst. Jim was fantastic to work with. I will try and rent this cottage again next year. Thank you!"
