  • Great location, cute cottage on lake Simcoe

"The cottage is a nice comfortable place to stay right on Lake Simcoe. The beds were wonderful to return to after a fun filled day. TV and Internet worked fine and nice to have. Great hot water and heating system. Would like to return again."

  • Thanksgiving at the Cottage

"We wanted to try something a little different this year for our family Thanksgiving get together. Renting the cottage turned out to be an excellent weekend getaway with our extended family (9 of us) The cottage itself' is very well equipped, very clean, with comfortable beds. The picture of the sunroom/3 season room does not do it justice. This space is very bright, spacious and affords terrific views of the water and beautiful sunsets. The property itself is as well maintained as the inside. Oak Point Rd is a lovely quiet dead end road lined with beautiful trees and quaint cottages. Perfect for walking! We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning next year."

  • Fantastic holiday!

"What a great holiday! Had 3 families with 7 little kids and tons of space both inside and out. Such a great location, 5 min to the beach. Everything we could have asked for. Thank you Beth!"

  • Pretty River Valley Gem (moments from delightful Collingwood)

"Christie's cottage was the perfect place for our extended family getaway. 7 of us (5 adults, 2 kids under 10) comfortably settled into the vintage-inspired family cottage with loads of room to sleep, make and share meals together, sit back and relax, play a round of badminton, and even go for a splash in the spring-fed pond (my kids are big fans!) This location allowed us to enjoy some of the best that Ontario has to offer - with scenic views from every vantage point. It's perfectly located with access to the Bruce trail, minutes from boutique shopping in Nottawa, Thornbury and Collingwood, tons of activities for everyone (we couldn't fit them all in!) and literally 20 minutes from Wasaga Beach (the world's largest freshwater beach - it was better than we imagined). Christie was so quick to respond, prepared the cottage perfectly for us, and left very helpful instructions for everything we needed and more. We're already talking about "next time"!"
