  • Stanhope Cape Beach PEI - Oceanviews and easy beach access at home away from home

"Nothing could be easier than staying here. You are a 10 minute walk from swimming in the warm Gulf ocean currents and exploring miles of sandy beaches. Our family has summer vacationed in the North Shore and Brackley Beach areas for decades. Yes, we've enjoyed many stays at the Inns and rented beach cottages but this year we wanted to host a family reunion in "our home." Within the first hour our family was at home here. By dinner time we'd had our ocean swims/walks, showered in luxurious bathrooms, bought fresh fish from Richard's and had the large dining table set for company. We could not believe how well designed and equipped this home is for entertaining with living rooms on both levels. Aside from the oceanviews from almost every room, there are balconies and decks galore for each to enjoy a private view of those awesome sunrises/sunsets. Once the sun went down, it was easy to fall asleep in comfy beds listening to ocean breezes. The peace and natural beauty of this location will draw you back as will the albums of cherished memories. The owners could write the manual on excellent customer service, notably their timely responses."

  • Best summer vacation spot ever!

"Our one-week stay at Mostly Dune was by far the best vacation spot our family has ever enjoyed!! Very comfortable, well-maintained house with a great layout allowing for spectacular views of the ocean, sunrises and sunsets. Lots of opportunity on the upper deck for stargazing at night and sipping coffee in the morning. The public but very private beach is only a minute-walk away over the dune and is perfect, especially for families with young children - soft sand, shallow waters and close by. Our kids especially enjoyed catching crabs in the ocean in August! A short stroll down the beach provides some fantastic natural wonders to explore in rocks and caves. Great places nearby to pick up fish and seafood for dinner, great local souvenirs and even play some golf. Mostly Dunes is a hidden treasure. Can't wait for a return visit again!"

  • The perfect house for a great PEI family vacation!

"The Stanley View Summer Home was the perfect location for two young families to spend our summer holiday! Clean and comfortable with lots of room and so many amenities to keep us comfortable for the week - including the welcome basket, which was a lovely touch! The kids loved the big yard to run around in (especially through the sprinkler!), as well as jumping off the nearby wharf and going for canoe rides. The adults loved the spacious deck, where we ate breakfast and dinner each day (enjoying the spectacular view!), as well as the screened-in porch area, great for relaxing in the evenings after the little ones were in bed! The Campbell family were wonderful hosts - answering many questions prior to the visit, stopping by to ensure everything was okay and even setting up the sprinkler for our children to enjoy! Thank you Campbell family - we can't wait to come back again!"

  • Perfect location...and great for dogs!!

"My husband and I were looking for a quiet spot within minutes to the beach and attractions (golfing, restaurants etc.). This lovely cottage had everything we needed including lots of space for our border collie to run! There was an excellent information package provided and we loved the suggested 'dog friendly' beach! We actually found this location fairly central to many attractions but far enough away from all the 'touristy hubbub'. The golfing was phenomenal and there are many courses close-by to enjoy. Check out the Stanley Bridge Ceilidh featuring Leon Gallant (Tuesdays and Fridays) at the Hall. A wonderful two-week vacation!! Thank you Winfried!!"
