  • Relaxing Getaway!

"My husband and I enjoyed a week this summer at the chalet with our 4 sons. It was an amazing holiday and exactly as represented in the ads. The sunsets were beautiful and the water was incredibly warm. We loved that you could walk forever along the shoreline and that you could wade out for a long ways in the water. My boys loved digging for clams at low tide and watching the hermit crabs. It was extremely private, quiet and relaxing to lounge on the deck and enjoy the fabulous view. Definitely our favourite vacation spot to date and well worth the trip! I would recommend it to anyone wanting a getaway free of crowds, whether as a couple or a family. An ideal place for families with young children."

  • We have returned three times

"My husband and I rented this lovely located cottage in 2012 for two weeks and I rented it with 4 of my women friends for a week in 2015 and again this past July 2016. The cottage is beautiful, very clean, spacious and well equipped and what a location. This cottage is close to golfing, theatre, and WOW what restaurants, our special one is THE DUNES the Lobster Pub in Victoria. The sunsets from the porch are UNBLIEIVALBE. We loved walking for miles when the tied was out, It is so peaceful and relaxing. Thank you again."

  • Beautiful Location.

"We just recently returned from our trip to PEI and stay at this wonderful little cottage. The first thing you notice is the amazing view of the Confederation Bridge. It was a beautiful way to wake up every morning. What we loved most was how quiet the location was. We attended the concerts in Cavendish and we so thankful to be away from the noise and congestion of the area and escape to our own little quiet oasis . I would not hesitate to stay here again"

  • What a memorable trip!

"Our family had a wonderful time at Fairfield House! It is centrally located, so far less than an hour drive to many desirable locations - Cavendish and North shore, Charlottetown, Summerside, and beyond! We enjoyed having the water at our doorstep, and walking the beach during lower tides was a great way to spend time, looking for shells, sandcastle building, wading in the warm tidal pools, etc. The house itself is very large and spacious, we are a family of five and it was more than adequate space for many more than that number, lots of living area beyond the bedrooms, and a lovely view from all rooms, particularly the water views from the living room and screened sun porch. The house is decorated very tastefully but not at all fussy, and our kids 9-14 were very comfortable. The house is well provisioned with everything you need to set up in a home away from home, and the hosts are very welcoming from the time of booking, to sending info about the house and PEI destinations prior to our travel, to the end of our stay. The only regret we have about our trip is that we only had a week to spend in PEI! Next time we come to Fairfield House we hope to plan for a longer stay."
