  • All that we imagined and more!

"We have stayed at Oceania in the past, but at a different condo. We chose this condo for its rooftop terrace. It was amazing! I think it is the only condo with an outdoor shower! So cool! The air conditioner worked like a charm. The only thing was that the thermostat was inside the master bedroom so to [revent the rest of the apartment from getting too hot we had to leave the bedroom door open. ( slight privacy issue). Other than that....We found it very convenient to just leave our towels at the pool and hop across the street for a quick dip in the ocean. The Prestige company was VERY easy to work with. If you are not familiar with Aruba, we feel the low rise district is the best of both worlds. It is like having a private beach, but 2 minutes up the road is all the nightlife you could want at the high rise hotel district. 4 EXCELLENT restaurants within EASY walking distance of Oceania. We highly recommend Passions, Tulip, Screaming Eagle and Chalet Suisse. Super Foods is a quick hop away, especially since the road from the complex to 1A has been completed to the traffic circle. A++++++ rating for this condo. We will be back!"

  • A Wonderful Vacation House

"Our group of 14 friends (ages 47 - 66) had a great time during our stay. There are four bedrooms upstairs which require going up and down a lot of stairs, however, there are three bedrooms downstairs for those that would have an issue with that. The bedrooms are much larger than they appear in the website pictures and each bedroom has a private bathroom. We rearranged the furniture in our bedroom to prevent the air from the ac unit blowing directly on our heads while sleeping. Ten out of fourteen of us thought the mattress was too hard. I doubled up my comforter and slept on top of that which made it comfortable. There is also a half bath in the foyer and a full bath in the pool area. There are more stairs out the back door to get to the pool, however, you could go out the front door and walk around the side of the house to access pool without having to do stairs. All the stairs in and out of the house blend in together, so you must use caution. A nice addition would be to have a strip of black tape marking the edges of the stairs. The pool in amazing, a nice shallow area to sit and cool off while talking or a deep end to swim around in. There were ample lounge chairs around the pool. The house blocked the sun in the afternoon which shaded the shallow end of the pool. We stayed in a few nights and used the gas grill to cook hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken. There is a large table poolside to eat at, some citronella candles would be a nice addition for the misquitos. There is a refrigerator in the outdoor bar / pool area we used to store our water, wine and beer. The living room only has one couch, however the bar stools and the dining room table provide enough seating for everyone. A nice addition would be a second coffee pot, more spoons and bowls. We rented two 7 passenger vans which worked well, about a twenty minute drive to Oranjestad, Eagle beach, Arashi beach. If you go out the front door and walk to the right, there is a great beach close by called Mangel Halto. We took some beach chairs from the house and put under the shady huts, great day snorkeling there but you must have your own equipment. Pack snacks and drinks, no vendors. We would recommend this house. Edward answered all questions promptly prior to the trip and Frank the care taker answered all questions promptly during our trip. One of my friends mentioned she liked to ride bikes, and Frank provided us with four bikes. We hope to be able to return one day."
