  • Family Reunion in the Bahamas

"What a wonderful place to celebrate, 55 years of marriage, several 50th birthdays and twins turning 13! We had 13 stay in this home and never were we each other's way (3 kitchens helps too). Not only did this home outshine all of the pictures on this website, but the property manager was outstanding with all of her help before our arrival and during our stay. (we couldn't have done it with out she and her husband). We were well prepared before our arrival with golf cart and boat rentals taken care of way before our trip. We set up our taxi from Marsh Harbour to the ferry prior to our trip, which made everything run very smoothly. We were given all of these names from the property manager and they were fantastic. I would definitely stay here again. I can't say enough great things about this home. The home owner continues to keep things updated. It was very nice to have the restaurant "On Da Beach" a few doors away for dinner or a drink. Great location on the ocean, not too far from anything! Can't wait to come back!"

  • Great Place for Couples or Families

"My wife and I stayed 5 nights at this house in June 2016, and we would ABSOLUTELY go back! The grounds are beautiful and make you feel very secluded. It is in a very quiet section of the island, but it is very close to Hope Town, a convenience store, and several restaurants. You will practically have the beach in front of the house to yourselves, and having "On Da Beach" next door was much more of an amenity than an issue - nice to have good, relatively inexpensive (for the Bahamas) food and drinks right next door, plus they close down around 7 p.m.! You can't beat having breakfast overlooking the ocean and sitting on the back deck at night to see a million stars! The main house is divided into LR/DR/K/MBR in larger unit, with a double bed and single bed plus bath unit across the breezeway. Small cottage on the grounds sleeps at least 2 more. It was just the two of us on this visit, but we could easily see bringing the whole family plus a couple of friends, and everyone would be quite comfortable and have some private space. The owner and property managers were excellent and very responsive. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience!"

  • Best front porch in Hope Town!

"We just returned from a great stay at Sam's Cottage - it was perfect for us. It is very clean and comfortable and looks just like the photos. The front porch is the best for hanging out, reading and just watching the boats come and go, and there's always a breeze. We rented a boat for our week, and the dock at Sam's Cottage was a luxury - just a few steps away. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the house is right in the middle of Hope Town (which we love), so if you are looking for seclusion, this may not be for you. There is some noise/music from Capt'n Jacks, a fun restaurant just a few steps away (the conch fritters are a must), and a couple of nights a week the music goes late. All in all, we loved it and will be back. Cudos to Paul and Sharyn for keeping such a nice rental home."

  • peaceful paradise

"I have just returned from an idyllic month in Annie's Skyward cottage and could not be more pleased. The cottage is charmingly rustic and as far from the hustle of a resort as one can get. The views are breathtaking and life here is simple and peaceful. We spent our time searching for treasure on the lovely beach, pulling wahoo from the sea with Local Boy Charters, and a big night out was bingo at the village pub. The cottage is steps from all the village has to offer but as private as one could hope for. Excellent for a romantic getaway. Thank you Annie. You are a wonderful host."
